I get your point, really I do.

It's just that I only WANT an Exige, and I don't WANT flies in my teeth!

Ha Ha, like your car, it looks very different in real life.

A lot more metallic and a little less orange!

In fact, that little button below my post that says 'post reply' - it's like that orange.

Superb! Lairy but cool!

So Zip - you now have:

Exige
Pick up
Alpina B3?

Or am I wrong? Wasn't sure if you got the Alpina in the end.

Nice collection - even if they are all four pots

EFA.

The Alpina is being ordered next week - I STILL can't make my mind up which wheels and colour of wheels to go for! (getting as bad as Ding for decision making...)

Anyway yes, they're all 4-pots but all 3 have at least one super/turbocharger each

A car for every occasion?

Indeed - nice selection of cars!

When do you pick up the Lotus? Is the 996 being p/xed?

Have you got something (a BM of some sort) until the D3 arrives?

Hopefully picking up the Lotus this afternoon.
The 996 is being picked up by a dealer shortly ( if we can agree on a price otherwise it'll be px at Lotus)

We've still got the 5er until the D3 comes.
The 5 is a company car that's supposed to go back in June but they'll let us keep it until the replacement arrives (which isn't a co car - buying ourselves and taking the money!)

So where's Zip?

He's either stove it already or his Mrs won't help him get out of it.

Coo-ee...

HAD to finish work a bit early as the sun was shining and the roads are dry.....

Anyway, the wife hasn't seen it yet - she's in Romania all week.

Happy days.

I can't believe the attention this thing gets - good attention so far - nothing negative (yet).
Even had nice laydees waving at me!

Never ever happened in the Porsche.

That aside, this is my first s/c car ever - I never thought the Porsche suffered from that much lag and this one obviously
doesn't, but **** me - I can now see what I've been missing with screaming engines a la GT3's!

I really, really hate to say this - you were right all long.
I DID buy the wrong Porsche.

I felt absolutely no sadness as it was taken away on a trailer and still don't give it a second thought.

This really is a bizarre situation with the Exige though.
Had a conversation with a lad at the petrol station asking me about it, and I've just been washing it on my drive and 3 neighbours have wandered by and actually stopped to talk about it.
One of them wanted to sit in it and another wanted to hear the exhaust.... scenarios like that never happened in two years of Pork ownership.

Zip they were probably jealous when you had the Pork. I know it sounds silly but a friend of mine a few years back bought a brand new rs4. When he drove down his street the neighbours wouldn't even acknowledge him. A year later he had to sell it as his business wasn't doing to well. He replaced it with a diesel vectra and was suddenly spoken to again. One neighbor even came over to gloat and ask why he had to get rid of the Audi.
