Nate I`m game wherever it happens. Rye House is a good track but the whole place was looking a bit neglected a while back. Could always do both at different times.

Looks like they have been spending some money there according to the website and the Karts look smart but the pictures will be of them when they are new so worth asking

Will need to ask, the picture is not a pro-kart, they are twin engined. Its a single engined water cooled race kart, those plastics are far to fragile for hire use.

here the pic's in the gallery look like fairly new

Everything looks like it`s been refreshed fairly recently then. Suits me as it`s about 15 mins from my work. Or only 40 mins from home. And as Budgie says easier for his motley crew to attend you really Pete.
Let`s go for it Brian
PTR isn`t looking like enough interest this time so don`t worry about the PTR date.

shame to hear things may be changing, as lakeside is about as far as im willing to travel as im from colchester - the fact lakeside are running fairly new prokarts was the main reason i want to get involved as iv been considering getting into kart racing for a lil while, and the twin gx160 honda prokart are one of the main classes for adult racing

Rye house is the same distance from Colchester and they use the same karts now.

We shall have a discussion on Monday.

Thanks again BRI4N for a great nights racing.. Much fun!

I have seen all the suggestions for tracks and karts and they look good. I am happy to come along wherever you book.

I have just spoken to the director of Club100 (which is the club I race in). They are based in Sittingbourne, Kent which is about 40 mins from lakeside. They run at Bayford Meadow circuit and they use 2/ TKM extreme 115cc engined karts which are prob the most fun you can have in an arrive and drive kart group in the country. They run test days which are unfortunately only daytime on weekdays due to noise restrictions. (Tuesdays) It usually costs 125 per kart for an hour but he said he will do it for 100 for me(cash)

The next two available dates/times are Tuesday 7th June or 26th July
1pm to 3pm
I said I would see what the interest is like.. if you want to see what it is like take a look http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LoKTUw8tU80

Cheers

Thanks everyone. Another top night.

Looks like you'd better get a thread started for the 26th July Ulti.

Do we still want to try and squeeze an enduro in before then? (Possibly @ Rye House)
