Popped in to LKR on the way home and they've allowed us a few more karts.

So if anyone else wants to come along I need the money by Sunday evening.

a single payment

Went down to pay on the way home and was told of their great idea, what with being in a recession and all, and funded by peoples spare money......................

Next month the price is going up to £35!

Still cheap by karting standards but, if we're paying that much, I'd rather go to PTR once a month.

I know it is not a lot more extra, but a £7 increase is a little steep, for a group of 15 that is an extra £105 in their bin. I can't see where the extra increase is being justified, new platinum plated karts ?

Maybe we could ask them for a special deal seeing as were running our own monthly tournament, including the fact we provide all the money upfront in advance?

Looking at the possibility of an event at Rye House in the summer.

Some good deals to be had here for endurance races, for example - "Grand Prix Layout 15 min practice, 40 min race, up to 25 people £77 per person"..

Thoughts please.....

Yes please.
Thurrock is good, but Rye House is a proper kart race circuit.
Remember never, ever lift at Stadium!!!!!!!

Very local for me. I did the same event about 18 months ago there and Neil is right the track is cool and stadium is fast. But the karts were Pants. Would be worth asking first if they`ve renewed them lately.
And my suggestion would be maybe pay a little more if needed and do Buckmore Park new Karts and an awesome track.

Rye house would be good for the msoc drivers
a bit easier to get to
I do think LKR are pushing it a little with the increase
£30 would be nearer the mark

I haven't been there for a good few years, certainly not since they extended the circuit at pylon.
If the karts are poor then no point, but got to be worth checking with them before deciding.

My last proper race there ended in a barrel roll exiting the second hairpin! Smashing my crash helmet, bent the chassis and axle, and broke a knuckle........
and the plum's nose that caused it

If no new karts, then i'd like to try the revised Buckmore.
