It is shocking. it's the fact that o2 did 3 fecking searches that really annoys me. Phones4u say that they only made one request. So o2 took it upon themselves to do 3 searches.
Completely illegal. Typical with o2, the departmeny I needed to contact doesn't have a phone! :rolleys: So I have sent a letter, as have phone4u with me copied in.
My phone bill is around £45 a month with o2 and I have been with them for years!
May have to try the cancellation threat and see what happens.

[QUOTE=Gear Head;10035578]Next chapter:
Falied a credit check again, even though I am now on theelectoral roll register and have a 'good' credit rating according to both equifax and expedia.
It was with Phones4U again but for an O2 contract (which I am already 20months into a 24 month contract with). It was late in the evening and was told I would receive a call or email if there were any problems. As I hadn't heard anything nearly 24hrs later, I rang and checked. I failed....again! All I have is a credit card with a couple of grand on it and a very small loan. I have never missed a payment in my life. The only issues on my file was the electoral roll (now sorted) and the fact that I have had a couple of searches for credit in the last 6 months. That's it! Everything else is either classed as good or excellent.
o2 did nothing, phones for you will search once a week, then if you somehow pass they will ring you up and tell youi you can have a phone, i see **** like this from phones for you everyday, they are the biggest bunch of cowboys going and i would never shop there in a million years.
Never buy from phones for you, does the name not give it away, they sound like a sub prime lender and that is what they specialise in.
The amount of customers i see that are very pi55ed of with phones for you is amazing, im suprised they are still going, they never get repeat business.
They do so much borderline illegal **** its untrue, never give them you details, always go direct to a carrier, never use a third party, and o2 are the worst proper carrier as well, you want orange or vodafone!!!
