Boultsy glad to hear it...
Harry, Nothing wrong with taking a secured loan out. This enabled me to get a rate of 4.5% APR !! If you take a personal loan out it
is often secured against the car anyway. so one is on the house, one on the car. if you can't pay the car part of the loan then either way yer best bet is to sell it to pay the loan off....

I thought that only UK supplied cars could take advantage of the
10K annual service intervals rather than the 7.5K/6 month. Is that not the case then.

Also, glad to see someone else has got a discount out of a UK dealer.

Fitz,

Personnal loans are usually unsecured.

An unsecured loan is usually cheaper as the lender has something to take if you fall behind in paying them back. The downside is it's harder to sell the car when on finance. Although I suspect if you just bought a 25k new car, your going to keep it a while anyway

Cool

Matt,

I think you mean a secured loan is cheaper... !!! But I know what you mean. You need to be a little careful on so called personal loans as for example the lombard direct loan from the web doesn't give the impression it is secured against anything, but if you
read the small print you have to give the reg no and it is no
diff to hp or pcp's etc...

And ur quite right I shall (hopefully) be keeping it for quite a while !
