STi or uprated WRX - real world driving differences?

Not starting another WRX vs STi thread , all i am trying to say is a wrx makes a good road car, its never going to be a track car but in the same way a STI will never be a relaxed and comfy for touring. If the guys is looking for a Wagon then maybe the gains that the STI gives are much lower on his priorities
I've got a track car (zx10r engined) so this car will be bouncing around rural muddy lanes, and trailering the kit car to the track amongst mountain bike carrying duties...

I suppose a sensible way forward is to see if I can get a ride in one. Then I'll know

Ideal then decat the second pipe, remap and you'll get 280/310 ish which is perfect for your needs Gear box and chassis wont be over stretched either.
