We did get the impression that may be the case. I remember he used to be commited to the 1.4 engine and thought that other tuners using the 1.7 were cheating.

There must be something in the water in Dorset - K-Tec are just down the road from where I work in Verwood!!

I had one running 220bhp but was stripped bare inside and went like a rocket. Can easily show up higher powerd cars.

Didnt Jamie Shaw (Carisma) get his to 300ish BHP?

5 Turbo was fast in its day but no where near the power of a decent Impreza but fun all the same.

We had one in on a K plate, a white one around about 1993 sometime, I owned a raider with stage 1 mods, quality motor till the box blew, garaged it for a few years then got rid as i needed the space.
