Really? I'm glad I'm entertaining you, cos your certainly entertaining me as it seems that your the one that can't deal with the 'imsult'.
I'm the one staying calm here and your the one making yourself look a complete tool by not letting it rest. I told you what I would of been interested in as a deal and you blew it all out of proportion, feeling the need to voice your opinions on my thread when I was thr one who pm'd you to keep discussions between us and prevent anything like this on my thread, buy you clearly chose to ignore that, so thanks.
I saw on your profile that you were active on here at 4 o'clock this morning, so your either very tired, or you habit been getting any lately, either way I don't really appreciate you taking it out on me.
You could of very easily just said 'i think your asking a bit too much from the deal, so I'll decline the offer, thanks but no thanks' that would of been so much easier for us both and I would of respected yoy for that, even if you didn't respect me for being cheeky and saying what I wanted in the deal.

Exactly that. Im keeping my options open mate. If I can sell my car for cash then I definately would come view your car and leave you a deposit if I was happy with it. In the meantime though I'm just keeping my options open with and swaps that could be available. And to be honest they are coming in thick and fast, I've had around 10-12 emails today via pistonheads, from fully forged sti type r's, bugeye sti's, wrx's, evo 6's and 7's etc, so it seems I have plenty to choose from at the minute.

Very nice looking car you have there mate....
eBay would be the way forward for me, and then have the cash to purchase whatever you want out-right. I know a lot of people are put off by eBay, but ive sold many cars through it (2 Scoobs inc) and each time has been succesfull. Granted there are some chances on there, but more often I get a genuine buyer. You are appealing to a wider audience too........
Anyway GLWTS

I did think eBay for a wider audience, although pistonheads seems to be proving good for swap offers. What would you recommend, fixed price buy it now, classified ad, or auction? And if auction what sort of starting bid?

Thank you mate!
To be honest as long as it doesn't get anymore spamming I don't mind it being on here, I don't feel like I was the one that started it or anything, I just took a chance and made a cheeky proposition, no one can blame me for that! It just got blown waaaay out of proportion.

Hello mate!
I was going to pm you any day now to let you know that we've already planned a date to come back over to Wales, we're all booked off work and currently booking hotel rooms. We will be coming over a bit earlier this year as one of my mates mrs is expecting in June, so we're heading over for the weekend of 14-15th may, let me know if your around, would be great arranging another big meet on the sunday.
This is one of the reasons I wanted the scooby as well, I was so disappointed last year with that Toyota altezza I had, I just had to get a proper capable car for this year and really enjoy it like I did the first year in my s3.

I hope your mate with the torquey Golf TDi pops along as well, I can't believe how well that car goes - he was talking about putting a larger turbo on it when I spoke to him on the last run.
Although the Civic Type R's out on the last run could have done with having a supercharger fitted in order to keep up.
No problem, it is a nice car and looks the part and the 1.9 engine goes well enough when tuned (I had an Audi A3 TDi 130 Quattro Sport tweaked to 170bhp) so it would have been interesting to see what the 2.5 is capable of.

I will drop you a pm mate soon to get the ball rolling then.
My mate with the golf should be coming, he's just waiting for confirmation on holiday he booked for it. His still got the golf, although I think the plans for a hybrid turbo have been either thrown out of the window or put on hold as he has just bought his own house recently.
Funny you should mention the civic's, cos one of them was actually supercharged and running 330 bhp just before we came over last year, due to bad mapping it melted a piston so he threw a standard k20 engine back into it and uploaded his old NA map onto the hondata. His still got the civic (it was the silver one) and it's still NA, but, he has also got a dc2 integra type r which he is fitting a civic type r k20 engine into, but it's been bored out and forged to a 2.2 and the car will be totally stripped! The engine is built and ready to go in, his just waiting on a set of transplant engine mounts from the states, so I'd imagine he'll be bringing that to Wales with him this year!
The 2.5 a4 was brilliant, very torquey and sounds lovely being a v6, it would of been quite capable on some of the welsh roads but I wanted something that's properly built for the job, so had to come back to a scooby!
