Question is do you take a hit in the pocket on the Impreza now or do you gamble on future petrol prices and risk taking a bigger hit later. Decisions decisions.

I do miss my Impreza but I don't miss filling it up with expensive petrol every few days.

Best of luck to you though - you may well need it
nice car that Audi, but nothing will thrill in the way a scoob does, as your post testifies so that dilemma is what i have faced. but after much thinking i cant see the point in selling it with the market depressed and it being too niche for the majority. if my wife uses it more than me then, well, thats fair enough...i still have the car and can use it more or less when i want to.

Good luck though Still a very nice looking car!
thanks...and i do agree with you, it will only ever be worth what someone will pay for it. and that could be 10k, but is highly unlikely. i am sure i could sell it tomorrow for 8k, but after reading the replies, i cant see what i would replace it with that would be reasonably frugal, in terms of insurance, and exciting...i would only regret selling it...therefore, i am keeping her

i have a 56 reg sti hawk uk with fsh 37k, took mine in local subaru dealers around xmas for a service and they offered to buy it for 10.5k cash and considerably more if trading in for another vehicle. i would say around 9k. car looks mint.
