being a chartered accountant my colleagues always laughed at me when I told them I like to work on my car myself... so I know how you felt when your buddy dissed you...
saving up myself to do a slightly less ambitious build but that's a couple years off anyhow...
until then I am living through guys like you... keep the pics coming!!
good on ya and look forward to the build... subscribed...

APS tumblers. Version 5 heads and starter engine will be swapped for a engine capable of 650-700 with Hwakeye AVCS heads once use to the car.
Starting off with about 550/550. Thats the plan anyway. Who knows what will happen with these things.

Came up to Gaz's Wednesday night and have been busy on the car.
Had loads of sound deadening to remove from boot and various others places.
Didnt need to remove it all as we had plans for the boot

Rear wing adjusted, again to allow for fitting of the 22b rear panels
Probably lost quite a bit of weight out of the car too with all the cutting thats been going on.
