Good things come to those that wait.
I'm on call this week and the last week of the month, so it won't see much use until we go up to North Wales - but I can't see your name on the list for some reason.

Only just seen your getting it done today Ty. Hope its all gone well and you get the results you want. As said its been a long time in the making, but you've done it properly, fair play.
Mine are almost ready, silver one is done, just finishing off the turbo on the Type R, then a new fuel pump and she's done.

Mapping Session
Unfortunately the mapping session never took place today.
I arrived with Bob and drove into his garage and he informed me of a strange noise which he wanted to check out and identify before even carrying on.
The fault was part identified by Bob but it meant that the mapping session had to be postponed, and I then drove the car back carefully.
I spoke to Dylan on the way home and he asked me to pop the car in so he could have a look. Dylan stripped down the car and identified the cause and the parts have been ordered from Advanced Auto and I'll pick them up tomorrow.
I would just like to point out that Dylan is totally blameless in all this, I won't identify the faulty part or the manufacturer as I want to have a chance to speak to them before this goes any further but it could easily have cost me an engine / rebuild.
Thanks again to Bob and Dylan.
To be continued...

Cheers guys, I'm just happy that it didn't cost me an engine like I said earlier I can't go into detail until I've spoken properly to the supplier concerned.

It sounded like the noise that a roller bearing makes just before it collapses, but it turned out to be something totally different.

As many have all ready said Ty, gutted for you.
But i think Bob Rawle himself should be commended for not just going ahead and trying to get the most out of it.
One of the many good things about Bob is he is meticulous about his work and will not risk any car he is not 100% happy with. It's his life and reputation at risk and he truly cares about his profession.
On my 1st mapping with him he diagnosed a faulty MAF unit which he replaced for me and the walbro fuel pump which was not delivering full pressure so i had to return home unhappy.
But on my return with a new pump he sorted mine out from under 200bhp to a full throbbing 285bhp.
Other tuners might be of the same but i will always trust my Impreza with Mr Rawle.
Sort out the problem, get back to Swindon and allow Bob to USE THE FORCE !!
GOOD LUCK

I don't want to identify the part or manufacturer in question until I've spoken to them at length.
