That was the same as tomorrow the pumps showing £5:20 a Litre!!! Think of me in my car seeing that back in '73?

My mate had a V12 E-Type at the time and tried to sell it, a Red Roadster - I wanted it so much ... he couldn't sell it!!!!! I didn't have the purchase price despite him dropping it to the price of a Capri!!!!

The very same is happening to the Impreza - almost impossible to sell, and, now - it WILL be impossible!

I considered buying a STi for £27,000 in June 2010 - thank heavens I saw sense and didn't! What's that worth now? £15,000? £12,500? £10,000? Less even? What a shocking loss - horrendous!!
You should buy one now then and start whinging about how much money you COULD have lost lol.

But then you`d not have a high horse to sit on lol.

Did any of you see the interview with Cameron on TV earlier, he stated that the Chancellor and Lib Deb advisors are currently looking to lower the cost of fuel at the budget in March/April time, and that it is a priority.

Lets hope they do, unlike the Labour a$$holes that got us in this mess, forget about the global recession, their borrowing was and is reckless, and their decisions about the economy is like a druggie offered drugs gimmie gimmie gimmie. And how they can have the front to argue about the economy, when they did more damage to us than the Second World War did. But goes to show the average IQ of a Labour supporter, they should be sterilised!!

Take a look on AutoTrader ...... you will obviously be surprised!!

Plenty under £25,000 (asking) - of course, as there will be zero buyers, the price anyone offers is the price which must be accepted - or it stays with the owner as a weekend plaything.

Which is what appears to be happening.

Seems messed up that now it's at it highest and still rising people don't bother!
they can't do that no as the government legislated agains it. Sadly we live in a country within a world where our rights to protest and have any say in how we are governed are gone.

And most people have seen the light and done something about high fuel costs ... by buying a car which uses much less.

No-one cares anymore about those who chose to drive cars returning 20 mpg and who whinge, and moan, and blubb about high fuel costs .... it's just how it is

That's totally irrelevant - whatever car you drive, if fuel prices double then you will be spending twice as much on fuel.

If you buy a car which gives TWICE as many miles per gallon then your Fuel Costs HALF!!!

It's VERY relevant when looking for sympathy ....

High fuel costs are a choice, a lifestyle choice ..... it's like buying a McDonalds Burger and then moaning and bleeting that it is MUCH more expensive than the Burger down the road ... your choice, your money, your mistake - no-one is going to listen to you complain when the solution is within your grasp.

Just how it is .

Narp.

If you drove a diesel 5 years ago it probably cost half as much to run (lets just say for the sake of argument) in fuel costs as it does now. Of course if you've been driving a scoob or other thirsty car and you change to diesel now, you will see a saving, but another 5 years from now it's going to cost you twice as much again.

I see your point but I stand by mine also :P
