As usual with these kinds of threads; there ends up being a lot of heat and not much light and they seem to take the usual path of decline into being more about bickering between one or two members than anything relevant to the OP's post. In fact it seems as if ill substantiated generalizations are being made involving race to provoke arguments and perpetuate personal differences rather than contribute to the thread.

I'm going to give this thread a chance to get back on topic, but if it doesn't, it's going to get locked.

Just to put the good Doctor right, again, I used to run Wales for Dreams*, but became disillusioned with sales and retail. I'm still employed by them in a significantly less responsible role and with reduced hours as I too have gone back to school to retrain. I'll only now contribute on topic.

Well like I said earlier, I used to live in Rochdale, and the rumours are that he was a pimp, sick twisted criminal, obviously only cared about money, and if he had a heart, would never have done this.

But again where are the parents? When I was 18 I had a part time job in a shop, boss was at the cash and and carry, we always had girls hanging about outside, what really shocked me was that they offered me a bj for twenty **** and a a bottle of cheap cider!!!

I thought thery were joking, but they were serious and persistant. People think this doesnt happen but it does!

Police would come and move them on but they would be back 5 minutes later, bugging me for **** and booze again, or try and get other customers to buy for them. Same thing happens at takeaways.

Alot of them looked over 18 but couldnt produce any ID, so no booze and ****.

Some people may not have the prinicipals to deal with it in a proper manner.

But, why did the parents of these girls not teach them right from wrong? Where did they get the idea that sex would get them what they want in life??

The parents are as much to blame. Im not condoning what these guys have done, far from it, but I think there are other issues that need addressing, did the parents, social workers etc never smell booze, or wonder where they were all night?

This man does not deserve prison, he should be let loose in the community, becuse I can assure you, the Asians in Rochdale would not let him live!

Their families are are having bricks thrown through windows, cars smashed, people are jumping them and spitting on them in the street, I dont see them living in Rochdale for very much longer.

Which is a little daft as i have spoken to a few former army types who make it clear that 'we' are the invaders so it's hardly surprising that we face resistance.
