Not to detract from that, but it's worth pointing out that my 380 lbs ft was obtained with the PPP exhaust, stick a less restrictive system (e.g. Miltek like yours) on there, and you'd get 400lbs + comfortably. Like for like the 2.5 generally produces about 25% more torque than the same 2.0 set up.
Spec C type 20 for £15500 - here
Dammm that was 18k before i brought mine last week now if i offered £15,500 i would of been told dont take the **** now u see why i offer the ammounts i do at times

I'd say, as with most things mod related, there is a law of diminishing returns operating - the higher the level of tune on the std turbo the less the difference. But I'd bet mod for mod on the 2.5 producing more torque and spooling quicker though!

Interestingly I've just spoken to a SN member (having a built engine done the same time as me) who is going from a twin scroll 2.0 to a forged 2.5, which surprised me. Most twin scroll owners, like you, don't want to go bigger!

Ive driven a 2.5 and a 2ltr twin scroll and the twin scroll was the quicker spooling
hence why alot of manufacturers are going that way now.
The standard 2ltr isnt as good spool wise, the 2.5 sort of bluffs you a little but the 2ltr twin scroll gives you the best of both worlds, yet the 2.5 is still laggier, now make it a twin scroll and yes, it will be much better, and the new LM turbo's give better power on the 2ltr twin scroll, to gain the best from the 2.5 you need to go BIG bhp, thats when cc starts to show where its got the advantage, but it would be good to see a 2.5 v a 2ltr twin scroll (did evo do it?) as the twin scroll will have the advantage

That was for sale at that price last week I think. You could probably flog that White Sti & buy the spec c pretty easily.
Any idea how much similar parts from another manufacturer and a remap would cost? I quite like the sound of 350hp so might get saving!
PPP consists of a prodrive exhaust, ECU & panel filter. Not sure on the cost but IRO £1600 IIRC.
Miltek sports cat 3" exhaust, panel filter & own source map was £1400 ish & produced better figures than a PPP would.

what dealer was it from ? before i brought my white hawk i checked prices and they was anything from 13-15k depending on miles colour history spec, but from a dealer 14k was cheap mate with 18k on the clock ..
Definitely not on a std turbo!!

Surprised as you're the first person I know who's gone from a 2.0 twin scroll set up to a 2.5. twin scroll
The 2.5 twin scroll will definitely suit your driving style: when I first asked David at APi about the single scroll upgrade, he didn't say: check out the 0-60. He said ask another SN member (who has had the work done) about what happens when you put your foot down in 5th at 1800rpm.
Fifth gear you'll note and yes, 1800rpm. Gone are the days when scoobies didn't get out of bed for less than 3.5k rpm! Twins scroll 2.5 will presumably be even better!!!!
Didn't realise the SC46 came in a twin scroll variant.
Are you as anxious as me to get the car back and run in?!?!

SC42 twin scroll, SC46 twin scroll and the LM range too so lots of variants to choose from.
Yes, but as the car has been off the road for about a year now, a few more weeks wont hurt...
They've a grey 07 with 44k up at £13k at the moment with 12 months Subaru warrenty.
My old car is for sale again: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2335150.htm
It was an immense road car and never had an issue with it. Unfortunately fell into the expensive road tax by about 6 days though. Unless you are preparing a track car the old JDM argument is codswallop IMO.
390Lbs/Ft of torque with a decat and a remap.

The twin scroll is the nicer engine, best of both worlds
and mine pulls from around 17-1800rpm
