Hi Lisagh
Cash in my hand: £15,500
If finance/warranty is required then I could ask a dealer friend to help out, but the car will be more to ensure everyone's getting a fair deal.
FYI - the MOT and 12m Tax were all done in November.
Insurance through Keith Richards for me is around the £550 mark.
The annual service was always done at Litchfield's/Powerstation and interims done either at GRD or Powerstation.
Book is fully stamped and just ticked over 40k on the clock
The tracker is a lifetime subscription, so no extra fees.
All you need is annual servicing, tyres and petrol and you're one of the very few to have one of the finest (and rarest) Subarus that were ever made.
Over and above Litchfield's Type20 conversion I only added a few sensible mods to protect and improve the car.
Any questions then drop me a note or email:

Yup SurreyScoobies driver training day
It's the higher bracket, but the insurance is cheaper (than an Evo) so it balances out in the end
I wanted a black (obsidian perl) Type20, so it was bought to order by Litchfield and took 4 months to come over.
It was registered on Nov 6th 2006 and I took the keys at 14 miles.
I ran it in standard and then had the suspension mods done at service 1 (1k).
I waited until service 2 (5k) to have the power mods done as I wanted to make sure it was run in properly.
In addition to the Type20 conversion I added exhaust wrap to the turbo and exhaust. I also added the cold air feed and both were done during the 5k service so it was mapped with them in place (which is how I got 360bhp and 340lb/ft).
This was the remap chart at 1k: http://www.type20.co.uk/images/Remap_1.jpg
This was the chart when it had its power mods at 5k: http://www.type20.co.uk/images/Remap_2.jpg
Car is always run on Shell V-Fuel - no additives
The other changes I did to the car were relatively minor:
I think that's about all, but there may be a few other bits I've missed out.
... and I'm near Heathrow

The other changes I did to the car were relatively minor:
- Hydrolic struts to the bonnet - from new
- Re-Undersealed and waxoyled at 4k (mechanics hate it the stuff, but I don't care as long as it protects the car)
- EBC grooved disks front and rear
- Yellow Stuff pads front and rear
- Subtle Prodrive Mudguards (although the front right is missing)
- Just put new Type20 carpets in as the old ones were getting a bit scabby.
- Carpeted the boot. Loose, but better than bare metal.
- Subtle Poineer CD/Radio.
I think that's about all, but there may be a few other bits I've missed out.

Same with mine. The government was forced to change the tax bandings again for cars that were put in the highest bracket retrospectively, so a lot of cars that paid £400+ are now going to be in the £225 bracket now.

Is there a link to this as an article or legislation, so that if it didn't happen automatically the we can make a call and make it happen?

It's a bit complicated, but the VED rate of imports used to be worked out on the date the car was registered in the UK, not the date first registered abroad. That changed this April so now the VED rate is worked out on the first registered abroad date.
Added to this is the downgrading of pre March 2006 registered cars, so they can only go into band K even if emisions are above 225g/km.
So on a car like mine, that was first registered in Japan in 2005, but was registered in the UK in 2007, i used to have to pay the old Band G £400 to tax the car in 08/09, then the new Band M £405 for 09/10, but now only have to pay the new Band K £245 for 10/11
If your car was registered in Japan post 23rd March 2006, you are still going to be in Band M and have to pay £435 in 10/11
If your car was imported new and therefore never registered abroad, but was registered in the UK post 23rd March 2006, you are still going to be in Band M and have to pay £435 in 10/11
Head hurts yet?

With the cost of fuel these days, the difference between yours and mine is only 2.5 tanks of fuel, if that's enough to put you off owning this car then you cant afford to buy and run it anyway.

Interesting to hear about the tax ... my Spec C was MY05 albeit imported in early 2007 so I was in £400 bracket. I queried it with DVLA as it seemed well out of order to me "date registered in UK" was a simple scam IMHO to catch all the imported cars. In the end I wrote to Alistair Darling & got a standard letter back from one of his flunkies wonder why Govt has altered it ... did someone take em to court?

Had the same thing happen to me with my old spec c! Got it imported in 2008 and ended up getting hammered with being in the high tax bracket. I wrote to letters to every name that i could find but also only ended up with standard letters back explaining about the system.
But when i sold the car a couple of months ago I taxed for 12 months for £225???
Now back in a classic so no need to worry too much now lol

It's pretty good, but at 4yrs old it has some stonechips, but no scratches.
There's one small door ding you only see when it's spotless and in the right light.
I tend to park away from other cars or at the end of a row to halve the chances of it happening, so it's in pretty good nick overall.

Just back from getting the annual service up at Litchfields'
All new engine, gearbox and transmission liquids as per usual for the annual service. Looks like they flushed the brake fluids too.
Nice to know it's all done though. Happy car
New service log book as the last one was full. All stamped and signed
It took me 9 months to do the last 5k miles (Current mileage: 42000)
The car needs to go to a new home where it'll be driven more frequently
