This should be done immediately before mapping.
Electrical connection is straight forward and the pipework connection, one from the turbo compressor to the BSV and one from the wastegate with the third port venting to atmosphere.
You need to measure the amount of pipe you need if you want me to supply it as the amount of pipe will vary depending on the location of the BSV and the route for the pipework.

I've got no idea if I need anymore hose, can't get to the car at the minute lol. I'll have the solenoid and if I need anymore hose I'll source some at a later to time. I'll send payment to your PayPal now.
Is it safe to fit and then drive to my mapping session off boost?

Yes, no problem driving off boost. In my experience it is usually the mapper that fits the 3 port immediately prior to mapping.
The blue or red silicon pipe is cheap enough and I would have thought you simply measure the length you think you need for the route the pipework will take and add a margin.
On some installations I actually mount the 3 port at the rear of the engine close to number 3 cylinder which greatly reduces the amount of pipework required.

I know for sure that the FBY Hawkeye does not need it. If yours is FBW then no benefit. If it is the model before then it is probably worth spending £65 for the three port.
