The O/E flywheel is either 10 or 12 kg approx. Going to a light flywheel you have a lot less momentum or kinetic energy to smooth out the firing pulses and it is therefore important that the tickover is properly set up or you will suffer erratic idle issues.
I have very light flywheels on three cars here and you could not tell from the tickover that they had light flywheels.
Advantages. Well you have just dropped 6-8kg and it is rotational mass so when you blip the throttle, during gear change for instance, the car will rev quicker/more responsively.

The flywheel is machined around the circumfrence to increase the clamp load.
Shipping to Eire £20.
Buy your own flywheel bolts if you want them you tight git

Which do you recomend for a classic impreza Harvey,4.1kg or 6.4kg,and do all the flywheels come with the clamping mod already done or is it only if requested

So far we have not had any problems with the lighter ones fitted to cars we have done. Obviously a heavier flywheel is easier to operate and has a less dramatic effect on tickover. The 6.4 would therefore be a safer bet but if you are prepared to accept a less reliable tickover or requirement for more skill in setting off you will not be disappointed with the light flywheel. I should also point out that if the car is mapped properly there are no tickover issues anyway.
Both flywheels are the same price and the increased clamp mod adds £50.
The 6.4 kg is in stock with the increased clamp mod or without. The 4.1 kg is in stock without the increased clamp mod but that can be catered for within 48 hours.

Hi Mervil, no 6 speed in stock at present. Sorry. I can get one but I doubt I will be most competitive as I would have to buy a good quantity at a time to get the right price and amortise the shipping. I suggest you get in touch with Mark at Lateral or John at Just Clutches in Blackpool. Also try Mark at Import Car Parts 01388 834204.
