GUINNESS WORLD RECORD BID ELVINGTON 22nd MAY

Guinness world record bid for the most Scoobys in a Snake we are attempting to set the record at the Scooby shoot out on the 22nd of May at Elvington

So if you are not racing this is your chance to join all the competitors on track and set the longest line of Scoobys in history we have the 2 mile runway to play with and it is hoped that the Snake will go all the way to the end

There is no charge to take part and this is open to all Subarus that attend the event

With some of the top Scoobys in the country on track on the Handling circuit Drag strip and Top speed runway if you are into Scoobys Elvington is the place to be on the 22nd of May Racing starts at 10.30

Costs to come and watch the Scooby Clinc Scooby Shoot out is just £10 on the gate and no charge for Kids

Sorry for being a little dumb here, but what is the list above? This doesnt collate all the names from here and 22B, I can see a handfull of names missing, or is this just people that "have already" paid or are "genuine gate payers"

I am exactly the same as last year, with a change of tyres, so only coilovers keeping me out of standard and a guaranteed trophy

Ha only coilovers keeping you out of standard. Only a cone filter keeping me out of it!!

 

Not a lot changed since last October tbh, Main thing is my clutch has been swapped fro an Exedy twin plate, other than that, Perrin drop links replaced with Whiteline, different brand of wax?
Coilovers and Performance friction front discs put me into modified, I was under the impresion last year standard / modified was to do with if you ran a standard turbo, had no idea of the full list of regs, don`t think there are any tropheys for standard class anyways.

I`m on the same tyres as last year too, I`ll drive up on my Ultracs, if its bone dry, i`ll swap to a set of used Advans on back up wheels.

 

You should be ok in modified class or is it a gas powerd BBQ?
