OLD School game " ELITE " Question
Also Elite II and III are available for free from the developers web sites. I used to love playing Elite II on the Amiga. Playing it again though and it seems a bit pap. I imagine I'd like Eve online, but don't want to pay monthly subcriptions for a game I'd never get much time to play.
Yeah Elite II is called Frontier and III is called First Encounter.

First Encounters: Elite III
Might need DosBox to run depending on your OS
DosBox
Browsing those sites, there are loads of old classic games I used to love playing that are now shareware.

If anyone needs help with modifying their save file, feel free to PM it over to me and I'll mod it for you to add a docking computer. I could also add other things if you like (cloaking device, mil lasers)
I'm thinking of creating another OXP, but need to check if I can do what I want, which is to add my own system, with a planet and docking station, with a stupidly high tech level so basically everything is present, but at affordable prices. I'd place this system rather close to Lave, so it's easy to reach.
