make sure you use stainless bleed nipples, and i would not recommend a clear coat on top as they will get chipped and least if you use a good quality high temp gloss you can touch them up and not even tell

As with some of lads above not sure if have ***** to go away from original colour.

White above looks great but think be better with a dark wheel to stand out.

RS Focus lime green or the orange colour go bit mad..

But my serious option that imo i think would look great would be yellow with brembo wrote in black. think i've a evo8 with that colour combo saved somewhere on file. thought looked great.

Or Ferrari or Porsche. I wouldnt say that it is exclusively an Evo colour. Red calipers are generally the most common and recognised colour, especially for Brembos.

One thing I would think about is that you are in danger of it looking like a WRX. Subaru and Porsche purposefully change from red to indicated superior brakes to their standard models. For this reason I would want to keep it gold as those in the know will appreciate what it stands for.

so red calipers will make it look like a wrx. so all sti drivers that upgrade to ap racing calipers just want to be like a wrx.

it will all be down to the look of the car,my brembos are red as i wanted them to stand out more against the black alloys

Yep with the standard Brembos they will as they arent overly large. AP racing calipers will almost certainly be larger and look different enough...wouldnt you think? And no I dont think that STI drivers want to look like WRXs.

I have seen many Imprezas dolled up to be STI look a likes. Then you notice that the calipers are red. Sometimes you notice that the rear arch has the extension but its always the calipers first so yeah you run the risk of making it look like a wanna be.
