must be the sewer water you get out the taps round brum refusing to freeze up lol very lucky ,happy ending for you

South staffs? Got to admit its pretty manky, I've previously found green stuff growing out the end of the kitchen tap at work; I dread to look inside the kettle

Strange thing is, we're on Seven Trent at home and get zero scale (nor green gunge either).

here in wolverhampton you get that much scale in the kettle your cup of tea feels like someones rich tea biscuit broke of in the cup bit rough on the throat lol. ,
