It is noted Antony and others should do likewise. Thanks for letting me know.
A clear lack of standards and integrity by an increasing number of people on this site.

sorry guys , if you get offerd an amount for somthing and your more than happy with that offer why cant i sell it trust me i know how disapointing it is to loose somthing you were bidding on as its happend to me, to be honest i dont hold a grudge against them for doing that as there after money and thats what ebay is about making money not giving stuff away and paying silly fees to ebay and paypal . if someone offers a good amount to cover all the above and offered more money than addvertised then i would be daft to keep it on ebay , dont get me wrong if i put somthing on the bay and it goes for the first bid so be it i post it off and they get a bargain and people had the chance to make an offer but my moto is if you want somthing that bad i just make an offer they say yes or no if yes i go fetch and if the money is there in front of you instead of waiting to get paid and the hastle of people saying its not what they expected and want there money back

as for ebay if theres somthing that someone wants really bad and want to pay me more than im asking its theres no questions. but rest asured what ever is on the bay will stay till the end and it goes for what ever it goes for as long as no one makes me an offer i cant refuse then i will rethink ok

You hadn't even had the courtesy.
This is the warning I received from e-Bay by way of notification and caution.
Scoobynet readers can decide for themselves what you are about.
Dear eBay Community Member,
The bid that you entered for the item (330507746987) has been cancelled. You can view the reason provided for the cancellation by selecting the (bid history) link from the individual item page.

Please be cautious if you are contacted about purchasing this item after the bid has been cancelled and as always, avoid paying for your eBay item using instant wire transfer services through Western Union or MoneyGram as these payment methods are unsafe when paying someone you do not know.

Regards,
eBay
This is from the e-Bay site :

We strongly discourage sellers to end listings early because it undermines the trust buyers have in the eBay platform. eBay buyers are told that their bids are binding. Equally, buyers expect the auctions they bid on to conclude successfully.

Ending a listing early for the following reasons is prohibited as it is considered fee avoidance:

Cancelling bids and ending a listing early because the reserve price hasn't been met to avoid reserve fees. See Reserve Price Policy.

Cancelling bids and ending a listing early in order to sell the item off-eBay. You should be aware that as well as avoiding fees, you risk fraud by selling items off the eBay website. If a member writes to you to ask you to sell away from the eBay website, please report them to us.
ScoobyJam74: You put items on Scoobynet and had people wanting to buy them and then said that because you were getting confused you were putting them on e-Bay. Not a satisfactory way to treat members of Scoobynet.

i am totally honest ebayer
Clearly you are not and you have a misconception regards your own honesty and integrity. When you put items on e-Bay you enter into a Contract with any bidder. You have shown a clear lack of understanding of rules at best, your word is not your bond and your itegrity and honesty are clearly in question.

in your case ScoobyJam74 being a Totally Honest ebayer only means that the people that have had a chance to leave feedback on ebay have left good feedback but what about the other people who are bidding and then you remove the items........ i bet if they could leave feedback things would look much different.......

what ever guys leave it with ya, im not out to rip anyone off and i trying just to make some money you would do the same i think somone offers you cash there and then you telling me you would say no haaaa i dont think

put it this what this is a perfect example just sold the splitter on ebay last night i now have to post to australia yea right i now have a rough price i could charge the guy for postage and it aint gona be cheap so is he going to pay i dont think so ile wait and see, my point it it can be hassle somtimes and easier just to take the money ever heard of first come first serve everone has the chance to make me an offer even you harvey so you could have had the bits as the other guy got by asking and true

at the end of the day how much money have you guys turned down on ebay just to leave it running and lost on what you got offered

your guys are just pissed coz you missed out on bits that you could of had if you had made the offer and put the money there and then all you had to do was ask woopy do you missed some bits GET OVER IT i have missed out in the past LIFE GOES ON YOU KNOW

cant fault you scoobyjam, ebay/paypal is a rip off

now if the item ended for a set price by the winning bidder and you got a better cash offer then that would be unfair

i think most people on ebay do this and every time i list things i get cash offers by email and by the time ebay and paypal has taken there cut its some times better to take less than you wanted as a cash offer to avoid high fees and people that mess you about not paying for the items they have won.

Adam.

if you think there all a rip off, dont sell on them there - easy.

all this leads to is disgruntled customers, possible issues, and people unhappy. when really dealing in a subaru community should be easy, simple, and leave both parties happy. thats the way i see it,

hey mate , you work your way, i work mine.

not my loss at all mate, ill go and buy elsewhere

its yours really - you couldve had them sold buy now - if i hadnt read the full thread
