Well my lucks ran out
Fitted the new water pump and the timing belt, went to start it and i think the belt jumped and now the crank turns so far(by hand) and wont turn any further, its solid.
I take it if the valves were not bent before they are now eh?
Nightmare!

Thats because the valves are hitting the pistons you need to retime then turn it over you cant turn the crank over unless the cams are turning with it,that would happen on a undamaged engine usually if the valves are bent up the crank will turn over without the cams turning

yes youve nothing to lose just make sure the timings right then give it a few turns by hand and try again i wouldnt be worried about it locking without the belt on id be more worried if it didnt

move all the cam wheels so the valves are all safe, then move the crank to the correct position, then time it up.

Theres a couple of very good guides on you tube on fitting a new belt and pulleys, good tips on the hard bit on the left bank

Refitted the belt today with everything TDC and it wont even turn over by hand,it turned about 3/4 a turn and then it is solid so i guess it is damaged now?

Whats the next move,engine out?

And if so would it be cheaper to repair mine or buy a second hand replacement?

are you sure you're getting the crank in the right place? crank shouldn't be at TDC as pic in last page...

I'd pull the engine, after what happened the first time and then again, you've got a problem, you are just going to end up with more problems and damage. Just get the engine out and get the heads off..
