Mine still not arrived yet ;(
Nothing changes wih the licenses then... still a Micra for A class? lol
The graphics look good, Im impressed with the 2011 illustration above although I'm not overally won over by the new look of the impreza.
Without wanting to start a new subject as there is already plenty discussed on Snet; the Hawkeye is about as good as it gets for the impreza imho the 2011 looks hidious at the rear/backdoors.
I cant help think it looks like on the one of those MGZT`s

I do think it looks a bit like a Mk2 ZS though, vented front wings, boxy back end and similar headlamps.

Some features are locked, which will be available after you are reach level
Gran Turismo 5 has a progressive damage system. This means that as you level up and become more experienced each level of damage becomes unlocked. A report indicates that at level 20 in the game, near full damage becomes unlocked with moderate mechanical issues and at level 40 full damage becomes unlocked with significant mechanical issues.
At full damage, mechanical failures play a critical role in the vehicles drivability and aerodynamics. At this level car hoods, trunks, and even doors will be hanging by a hinge as pieces of the car fall off.

Really getting into this now. Just done the specials up to Nurbergring intermediate and got all silvers (can't do the top gear track on intermediate though driving me nuts).
Just found an RS200 in the used car lot and snapped it up, bloody excellent
Got rallying special to do tomorrow plus grand touring. Professional series also unlocked and still only on 10% and level 14.
Oh and found out in the steering wheel settings about turning it to pro mode, all steering correction is then off and drift ahoy

Pontificating
LOL All I managed was 20 minutes in the arcade, haven't even started the licenses, just as I seem to get a spare hour, I end up on baby bottle duty
Maybe I can revert to steering with my knees .

Is it just me, or is anyone else thinking there doesn't appear to be as many races in the GT5 as previous GT's?
I'm already halfway through Professional and knowing i only have 9 races in Extreme and then a few Specials left to do....what else is there?

yep, im finding its lacking content, few races and the restrictions make it even harder to get a decent race. Not many premium cars to be bought!
Although its a very good game im finding it hard to get a decent race although i think arcade may be the answer but if that is the answer why bother doing the game mode.
So all in all good but:
The sound is absolute crap and you have no settings for your own car volume so most of the time i can only hear the cars around me and not my own so i have had plenty of missed gears
serious lack of content for all the hype and 5 year wait
What is the point in playing B-Spec, you have to start at the bottom again and i would imagine have to sit and watch 3 hours of boring racing until you could at least get some better races, even then i should imagine its just as boring
With the lack of races you are going to struggle to account any decent money to buy some of the cars 850000 for a rally car, 2million for some speacials and the F1 car 20million.... thats just ridiculous
Anyone have a cheat for 100 million credits?????????????????

I think it's because their 'Standard Cars' only the 'Premium Cars' have in car views.
