Ah man that is only going to end up with him getting the horn again and making yet more sexual advances, which leads to a world of heart ache for him, and then he goes out touching random people in the street..... And it goes on.

Best to just leave him alone

...and corners don't work on this new-fangled apparatus we work on. I leave that to you techies.

At least I can touch random people in the street. You, sir, have to cross fields and fens before you see an electric light. Most of the people over your neck of the woods are married to relatives and have never seen a motor vehicle. Tell me, is this the reason you moved there?

I was a bit dissapointed with that NASA press conference, so what if their satellites have recorded images of PS Lewis coming out of Currys with a brand new 42 inch Samsung plasma under his arm.

Its his choice if he`s decided to use currys again, it doesn't need NASA to get involved although i do appreciate that a lot of people around the world do look out for PS Lewis`s bargains of the day on scoobynet.

And quote of the decade goes to:

Doug Finkbeiner, an astronomer at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, said in a statement. "We don't fully understand their nature or origin."
or translated:

Doug Finkbeiner said "Fcuked if I know what it is or why it's happening"

The black hole is a remnant of SN 1979C, a supernova in the galaxy M100 approximately 50 million light years from Earth. Data from Chandra, NASA's Swift satellite, the European Space Agency's XMM-Newton and the German ROSAT observatory revealed a bright source of X-rays that has remained steady during observation from 1995 to 2007. This suggests the object is a black hole being fed either by material falling into it from the supernova or a binary companion.

A new black hole that is around 50million light years away from us, but is only 30 years old, quite interesting really.

?

It has been detected as 30 years old, but is based around 50million light years from earth.

Not seeing the comedy in that.

from the telegraph

Evidence of the black hole was detected by space telescopes just 30 years after it was created by a supernova, or an exploding star.

The blast took place in 1979 in the relatively nearby M100 galaxy some 50 million miles from Earth.
