I wasnt aware of the class structure.. when I registered and was asked what class, I said no idea how are they set out.. and explained what the car was and they said class C and I was given number C67.. late on the sunday someone came around and said I was running tyres that werent in class C.. I didnt really care and wasnt going to get into arguing it so just said change my class then.. so they then gave me D3 as number.. they were on the list and were class c tyres.. obviously someone in class c wasnt happy I was beating them?
I just didnt see wasting my time arguing when my own goal at that time was a 9sec run..
which never came as I broke the gearbox.. oops

Oh dear, didn't know the box stopped play. I assumed something had thrown its toys out as your car didn't update from the 10.4 run.
Oh well, proper box it is

not 100% sure if I stripped 1st or its a selector issue.. it wont now go in 1st..
was a couple of odd noises when I put the car away today..
launched and I was on the limiter all of a sudden.. seemed like wheel spin.. went for 2nd and it wouldnt go into 2nd.. but then my foot was on the floor and it was banging off the limiter lol.. as I was flat shifting..

couple of vids, amazing how much you learn from them, it felt like I was putting lots of heat in the tyres but clearly I wasnt..

662 @ hubs - was at 1.4bar on vpower and is roughly 800 at flywheel.. altered the map via datalogs on the strip for 20% meth and vpower and 1.6bar and felt considerably quicker

Trailered the car over to stew @ tfs racing and back last week and we removed the gearbox I broke at totb.
Some metal on the drain plug so definately stripped first gear I guess.
Awaiting a hawkeye gearset arriving to build it back up.
While there the exhaust system was redone to exit the rear of the car.
The side exits did their job and were quiet measuring 88db at totb although that was with down turned tailpipes, they didnt believe it could be that quiet and remeasured with the mic nearer and said 92 and 94db.
The problem with the side exists has always been extraction on the dyno.
So set stew the task of making them exit at the rear bumper.
Rather pleased with the results.
