Would be interesting to find out how many of the top 20, or so, are daily drivers too.

It's all fine and dandy if you have sponsors and a large budget to build the ultimate track/drag car with 100000000bhp, but I'd like to know who still pops down to Sainsbury's in their own car, that they've paid for themselves, to do the weekly shop.

Just outside the top 20, but mine is an everyday car, paid for myself, and have just come back from the supermarket (and now enjoying the beer we bought ). I've done 35,000 miles in it since the forged engine went in, although did have head gaskets go 25,000 miles in to that.

Mine is fully trimmed with leather interior and is my family car which we do go shopping in and is paid for by me

I'm JUST in the top 40 and I have vouch for mine being used everyday for work, school runs and tesco etc.

Anyone that has seen my boot will also tell you it's full up with all sorts of crud including my kids toys.

Hope to be in the top 30 in a few weeks time mind you.

It's all fine and dandy if you have sponsors and a large budget to build the ultimate track/drag car with 100000000bhp, but I'd like to know who still pops down to Sainsbury's in their own car, that they've paid for themselves, to do the weekly shop.
My car has been my daily transport lately whilst I was running in the new gearbox and setting up the flatshift. No big sponsors, all built by me 'in me shed mate' for around the price of a new Sti.
I do tend to trailer it the 700 mile round trip to santa pod though

Problem with big bhp is the late delivery of torque, particularly on a 2.0 or 2.1

750lbft at 3600rpm is more like it It was probably more but the dyno just wouldn't hold it no matter how tight we strapped it down, hence the ripples.

Current figures on the GT30R's with decent fuel are still top secret lol so here is an early run on the small GT28 turbos running on Vpower.

My scooter has been my daily transport lately whilst I was running in the new engine and setting up the sequential box. Sponsored by "The Who", most of it built by me elbowing Scooby parts out of the way in extensive 5000 sq ft accomodation. I could seriously buy an STi engine for what mine cost!
I do tend to trailer it home the 25 miles when it rains though.

1966 LAMBRETTA
Alloy/nicasil 196 MB Developments barrel and custom forged piston. Stroker crank. MB Developments head and intake.
Dellorto carb. Electronic ignition with piggy back Agusta controller. Devtour expansion exhaust. 6 plate clutch. Li150 gears. It has three times the power of a stock Lambretta, so beats AndyF's hands down. (6 is now 18!)
BGM adjustable billet shocks front and rear. Progressive springs. Hydraulic disc brake.
Mod features all over it with various and constantly changing graphics.
No, I don't wear a parka!

0-60 no idea but it doesn't half annoy Harley owners..

Still the fastest Lambretta on Scoobynet!

My customers keep ignoring the Jap Performance cars and swarm all over the scoot instead! Of course Martyn thinks I'm for charging about on it..
