Evening guys. I started putting the kits together this morning and was dissappointed to find some shortages again

I contacted my supplier and they were going to push to get the balance of bolts out in todays post so they may be with me in the morning (I was supposed to call before close of business to check but got called in to work). I'll update the thread and pm everyone with their tracking number once they've been completed and sent out

Afternoon guys,

I received a package this morning just before I went out, which I believe to be the balance of the bolts

I'll spend another hour or so on the kits this afternoon, and will be finishing them over the weekend ready to post out on Tuesday morning.

I will try and finalise the requirements for the newage kits this weekend too, so will start asking for payments early next week once the Group 4 classic kits have been sent.

I'll have to ask about getting the bolts for just one kit at the same price fella, but if I ask them to put them in with what I order for the newage kits it shouldn't be an issue. Delivery times will be back to normal now the post has recovered -a couple of days from when I receive (all of...) the bolts.

Update:

Guys I've made an **** and I won't make any excuses. I finished off the kits on Sunday night when I was half-cut (seemed like a harmless idea at the time), picked the box up with all the individual kits in yesterday morning ready to put in the boot of the car and noticed a random bag of bolts nesting in the corner of the box

Unfortunately for me the size they are have 3 different applications in the engine bay. I've counted them and it's not even like they're the right quantity for all of one specific application either. All the kits were sealed so I've had to start opening them up and going through each one to check they're right. I got through 2 kits last night when I got in, and will pick up where I left off tonight when I get home from work.

As per the PM's Daz - classic kits can still be ordered, but there are constraints....

As mentioned, if Sp00ks and yourself want classic kits I will speak to my supplier and piggy-back the order I place for the newage kits, in order to get them at the lower GB price. Failing that, I would by all means run another classic kit GB, but it would need another group of 10.

Didn't really want to take any payments until the Group 4 kits had been sent out, but I suppose the sooner the payments are in the sooner I can place the order and start the ball rolling.

I'll get back in charge of this GB now things have levelled off. The combination of the postal delays, snow and the Christmas/New Year period seem to have affected the Group 4 kits much more than I would have wanted (and my drink-counting sessions ).

Sorry Jason. I've done them at the same price as the classic kits as it is far easier (for me) - £45 delivered for the full engine bay and alternator kit. There are actually slightly more bolts in the newage kits and I aren't going to mess about trying to account for the VAT increase either
