nah some 2006 and 2007 2.5's have had probs my 57 plate sti type uk with ppp full service history at 1 and 2 years only 12200 miles on the clock decided it was going to screw its big ends a couple of months ago had a new short engine only just run it in

Head gasket went on my 56 plate Spec D at around 70,000 miles but all sorted under warranty. The car has just had its 4th birthday and has 112,000 on the clock, and apart from the rear shocks being replaced, head gasket and a power steering belt, its been superb.
