Couple of new members tonight, had a nose at cars, did a couple of road tests lol (that don't normally happen) sit, have a chat about plans for cars, shows we're attending, trackdays we're gonna do, general chin wag and have a laugh for couple of hours x

 

Yes we saw you as you drove by....I did try and wave you over but i don't think you could see with it being dark......The stadium didn't have its outside lights on unfortunately...

As Emz says we meet up and have a hot drink and a snack as well as discussing what shows, events and track days we will be doing, mods planned for cars, getting answers to scooby questions, admiring peeps cars and a general chit chat....We all have a great time and its an opportunity for new members to meet other members off the forum....You will enjoy it....

Our cars are parked up and don't move till we leave to go home so we have no trouble with the police...quite the opposite...They do come round but on the whole just drive off again...We have had the occasional chin wag with some of them who admire our cars but thats all.....

Just to clear up where we are......
BABS mini meet is held at the Dons football stadium, Saxon Street Milton Keynes...from 7pm and isn't associated with the MK Cruse.....

Milton Keynes cruse is held at the old Hockey Stadium, Grafton street Milton Keynes...There is a big police presence there too..

Complete newbie here so this may not be posted in the right place but you guys seem most local to me so here goes...

My fiance has always been hooked on blue Impreza's but never yet managed to take the plunge and buy one. I'm actually the one that's encouraging it as his Mondeo has seen better days, but so far the closest he's got is the Subaru Challenge Scalextric set I got him last Christmas haha!

A long shot I know but just wondering if there's anyone here in the Milton Keynes (ish) area that for petrol/beer money would be willing to drive the future hubby and his best man one way from MK to Silverstone on the morning of Friday 8th April??

Could just imagine his face if his dream car turned up on his doorstep to take him to our wedding as he's currently getting a lift in the best man's K-reg Nissan Sunny (classy eh!)

I must be confused I was at the hockey stadium, saw some people I knew there at McDonalds, then headed to the stadium carpark and chatted there for a while..

 

The scoobs go to the football stadium near bletchley not the hockey stadium x

 

Ach, ths is where I get mistaken, being an 'outsider'! haha.. I'll grab a postcode and either swing by tomorrow or in a week or so. Do many other cars turn up at the football stadium? The hockey stadium was dead compared to last time I'd been and all times prior (September 2010 and before)!

 

No one uses the Hockey stadium anymore......Think Cruse Evo go to Kingston retail park now...

We get a few scoobs turn up on a sunday night....It all depends on peeps work, holidays, shows and committments etc as to how many turn up...We do tend to get more cars in the summer months though...
