Bear in mind the blue 2006 sti spec c type ra won't sell at 17k and there is a 2005 spec c. That has been for sale for ever at 13k.

And my 1st post was a joke hence the lol on the end, so your sassy quote wasn't needed.
spec c 13k where I'll have it!

No problem no offence taken as I hope none was taken from mine, the trouble is on here that members add LOL or similar when there's no reason for it.

We all have our own opinions and are entitled to express them provided their not offensive.

I would love one of these but in some respects i agree with Peter. A good prodrive bug can be had for less than 8K so are these cars really worth 4k or there abouts more? Thats a lot of cash to spend on mods. I know these are rare and i understand that makes them more desired ( just look at the 22b prices )

To be honest there's no comparison between a Prodrive Bug and an S202, the S202 has better suspension, engine, seats, wheels, exhaust, different gear ratios it is a totally different beast to a standard car even an STi.

I think the same as a quite a few members on here that it is a future 'classic' and was built with one purpose to be the best Impreza that they could build at the time.

Don't forget they were the equivalent on £46K when new and imported into the UK.

I know who he is and that he could buy it if he wanted to, which is why I said I bet you don't and not I bet you can't.

OK, as a new member I thought you might not know who Juggers is, just trying to assist.

No prob's it's fine, seems we have clashed a bit already, no offence ever meant but I do enjoy a little banter from time to time.

You said 2005 spec c I assumed you meant the hawkeye shape as 13k sounded like a bargain.

The MY05 spec c is a great car ,but even with the type 25 conversion I don't think it has the same appeal as the S202 factory special. It would be a tough choice as the MY05 might offer the better performance especially with the type 25 pack ,but i just love factory specials and the exclusivity.

The car in question has been up for a while now it was originally up for 14k i think a few months back. For that sort of money the buyer is faced with quite a few optionssuch as a UK hawkeye or even a high mileage Jap STI and I think this is one of the reasons it has not sold.

Fair point, a 2005 could have been an early hawkeye as you say and at 13k that would be a bargain, i offered the guy 12k for it a while back and he laughed at it, there you go, just to add i'm not a trader i was just looking for a spec c, i also bid 16k for the blue spec c ra but he said he had a trade in at 17.5k, but thats now for sale at 17.5k privately?
maybe the trader changed his mind, who knows.

in the end i left a load of dough in the bank and bought this as a cheap toy.

12k was a decent offer IMO and it will most likely end up selling for that sort of money. The hawkeyes tend to hold there value better due to the looks and the not so popular hatch.

Nice!
Just got rid of my 997 turbo cab fully loaded. I am looking for a good deal on a GEN 2 997 turbo or a LP560-4. If I can't get one at a decent price then I might for for a coupe 997 turbo manual and do some naughty stuff to it.
