I have prosport gauges, white/amber selection in 52mm, got them from this seller on ebay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PROSPORT-S...#ht_1474wt_958
I have the defi style gauge from scoobyparts.
I'd recommend going for it, makes a nice addition to the dash!

Ok, here we go, car washed, waxed, polished with all sorts of poorboy products and new wheels on, XXR 527 Chromium Black 18 x 8.75 et35 with Vredstein Ultrac Sessanta 225/40/18 all round with Muteki 1008 steel tuner nuts
I also go some bonnet dampers a while ago as part of a group buy and only getting them fitted now.
I await "needs lowered more, blah blah" but it's still settling back down and it ain't as bad in the flesh plus it keeps it driveable. No rubbing problems in rear at the minute but if it does down the line I have camber bolts that can be fitted. Coilovers may follow some point down the line.

Hi all
This car was our demo car when it was new.
It is a UK Sti and not a Spec D.
Before it arrived we ordered a full Spec C interior including door cards and carpets from Japan to get rid of the blue interior, black looks much better in the Crystal Grey STis.
The carbon surround on the dash is part of a full dash kit we used to import.
The standard Brembos were painted silver instead of the OE gold as the gold didn't really go with the crystal grey paintwork. We even had black Brembo logos made up the same size as the original ones to put on! You have no idea how picky my boss (who owned the car) is!! I call it OCD!!!
When we had it it was mapped by Andy Forrest and had our full de-cat Revolution exhaust system.
Oh and 53WRX, the badge is a really old Revolution badge that we used to supply with the lower front grilles we did for the Hawkeyes, we don't do those anymore!!
Edited to say, the wing mirrors were painted black to match the black wrapped roof it had when we owned it. The guy we sold it to wanted it removed before he took the car.
Thanks
Keith

Haven't updated this in a while so here we go.
So once the car had settled back down and wheels run in it turned out they were rubbing slightly on the passenger rear arch as can be seen from a slight tyre rub:
So the old you can't roll the rear arches on a widetrack theory was looked into:
Over arches off:
Taken to a local guy for a small roll:
No problems, lots of room to boogey now and room for coilovers down the line.
Rear arches put back on using clips and some double sided tape similar to what is on them new, bit of anti-rust application round the bottom of the under arch where it was rolled to stop corrosion and keep an eye on it down the years. Bob's your uncle, no problems:
And just a few more recent shots of how she still currently sits:
Next plans are to find some JDM style rain guards and maybe a set of HSD or similar coils
Thanks

So.... ordered an s204 titanium strut brace from @Mattybr5@MB Developments (great service thanks)
The strut brace arrived, bit rusty in parts and in need of some tlc, sticker on the titanium centre part was worn a bit due to the previous owner removing and putting back on the intercooler while the brace was on. I'm no painter, nor do I have the setup for a paint shop so I planned to just give it a nice coat of silver to make it a bit more presentable. 3 cans from Halfrauds, primer, silver and lacquer approx £21.
Here's how it arrived:
Removed the sticker (will clean the titanium centre part once painting complete):
I bought a wire brush and some sandpaper and got rid of pretty much all the rust (small bit around a hole where it attches to strut but without a dremmel or machine I couldnt get into it properly), smoothed it and cleaned it for primer. For the last two nights turned the garage into a bit of a spray booth:
2 coats of Primer:
Stuck two coats of silver on:
Finally two coats of clear lacquer:
Will get some other pictures up once it's ready to fit and have it fitted.
All in all can't complain for my first effort at painting something and it'll do the job

Thanks dude. I may have some time to gather parts now and fix it up as I would like, touch some areas up and have it minted for next summer, JDM hazard is nice, id actually prefer a black one to match the rest of the interior.
Do you mean get bigger mud flaps? I'd thought about this but wasn't sure it would look good.
Blob rear's are also on a pending possible list which I may be able to delve into now with it spending most of its time in the garage.
Many thanks, it's unreal how much it gets to you once you have your own flesh and blood baby, nothing else matters, but it will hopefully mean less money spend running the scoob and more savings towards nice parts, though the daily gets small mods here and there because I cant fight the itch lol.

Hi yes I do mean bigger ones I think they would make the car look more at a stance and low I'm putting mine on next week I've just tried the mini's myself no point having them on as stone hips still hit especially with your wider wheels even if you go for black they'll look mint I got mine at £80 off a guy down south who just started up doing the jdm ones with his own touches for newage they look mint I'll be doing a thread on mine once I'm up I've got Perkins going on tbe spoiler the flaps then the splitter gonna leave the wheels as they got them kumho slicks on yours is already taking shape to be very intimidating and monstrous and that's what makes a scuby in my opinion

I'll keep an eye for pics of yours with the bigger flaps on then I'll consider, her indoors is always saying she doesn't know what to get me for Christmas lol. I probably could do with protecting the side from the wider wheels tbh

That said, I'm into my aircooled classic VW's too and have managed to get a new toy to play with, but not without giving up the beetle I was restoring due to lack of time to complete.
Having kids is amazing though. Just amazing. Always put a smile on your face, no matter how bad the day has been. Congrats again!
By the way, the scoob is looking great still. Mine (same colour, similar spec) is my daily and getting used for nursery runs etc, so not at it's best any longer.

LOL. Don't count on it! In my experience: More kids = Less money. Full stop!

Know exactly what you mean. To be honest, working on any car that isn't required for essential daily use is good fun (given the time). If my Subaru breaks and I need it to drop the kids to nursery it becomes a chore, but if it's all working and I'm fitting upgrade bits I know won't stop me using the car then it's great fun!

Congratulations on the new arrival mate. Out of interest in post #40 you have parked next to a black prodrive bug. Do you know the owner? I now own the car and was curious?
Back on topic love the changes you have made very nice indeed.

Thank you. 4 hours sleep a night is becoming normal, go to work for a rest lol.
I may be able to track them down or get you an email address or something, they were just a fellow member of scoobyireland at the time, knew a few other guys but just happened to be beside this car that day.
Looks like you got a nice example anyway.

Ha ha 4 hours sleep you poor sod.
Yeah I got a great car a few issues that needed sorting but that is to be expected with a 13 year old car. She is in her final home that's for sure I spent 3 years looking for a blue / Black v7 he he.
Would be great if you could get an email address I do have a few questions that they might be able to shed some light on.
What are you next plans for your build?
