No progress I'm afraid chaps.
It's still going to be done, just have to prioritise my work at the moment...
I have done a little mini project, twin scroll type R however in the meantime to run around in..

The White shell/ car is still here. I'm going to carry out the rePairs to the front of the car and put it up for sale. If it doesn't sell I'll either put it back on the road or use it for this project.
I'll post a few pics of the mini project later on.

Actually, one has been done / nearly finished. X Spec have nearly got it fully built and the workmanship is absolutely fantastic. Would love to own this car
It's a type R shell with a blob front and hawkeye running gear if I remember rightly.

Not the same - all that is going on there is facelifting a 2-door classic shell so not a 2-door newage really - the OP is creating a 2-door newage from a 4-door newage shell which takes a bit more effort and engineering to make it happen
And if I'm being honest, the facelifted classic looks like a bad hybrid - the classic and newage styles don't really blend well together at all

im sorry but i agree with comments above, i really tried hard to like the conversion but both cars have different lines that done blend well at all. i guess the important thing is that you like it

Ha, sadly not mine. Wouldn't mind owning it though, in the metal it looks great IMO, and will no doubt drive like a beast.
I own a bugeye, so therefore I clearly have no taste
