Anyone come across the tw@ts selling FW1 waterless cleaner at Shell service stations recently?
Had one come bouncing along offering to clean a bit of the car as a demo.
Told him not to go near the car.
He started spouting on about how FW1 was "a new product and it didn't need any water blah blah blah."
Told him not to go near the car.
I then pointed out waterless cleaners have been around for decades and you could buy that cr@p on ebay.
He didn't go near my car
Maybe pointing the petrol pump nozzle at him at the time had some effect !

...and why can't they invent something to prevent diesel pump handle from getting covered in fecking diesel?!

I have a little split pin on my key ring that will push the the holes in the handle, re-enabling the lock. Simples
Most petrol stations in Thailand have attendants who do it all for you, while you wait in the car, most civilised

Still doesn't prevent diesel from covering the handle.

I can understand what you mean, When I want to fill my mini right to the top its a nuisance having to hold the pump handle partly open to prevent it from overflowing since the rate of fuel going into the tank is a bit slow. Gets a bit painful after a while.

I can't think of anything more ghey than putting gloves on to handle a bloody diesel/petrol pump.
I just wipe my hand on a rag after, and don't even use a hand gel!

I remember way-back when self-service started appearing in the UK: it seemed very futuristic and exciting to pour your own petrol. What we were actually doing was putting people out of jobs, of course!
It would be nice to go back to that.

You seen what irritant contact dermatitis is like?
My hands are always covered in cuts and scratches so there's NO way I want ****ty diesel on my hands!
