At the end of the day it's only a lump of metal, albeit a very rare one but a lump of metal nonetheless.

Anyway enough of my old car as it's detracting from the top roof vent installation.

Back on topic.

Looks brilliant, Well Done Why did you go through so many Dremel discs? I only had to use one when I did my own Roof Flap, its a good feeling doing it yourself but I wouldn't do another one

The roof vent isnt my cup of tea, however, it looks a top class job, and the rest of the car looks great too.

Hats off to you for having the nerve to make that cut.....

Cracking job mate, looks great on your GX. Really nice to hear when people have used the guide I wrote. Always nice to help people out.
If anyone wants a vent fitting I am available in Essex and can assure you a factory fit and quality install.

Once again, great job mate, well done

Thanks for that mate

Ah, bit of a long story but basically the discs I bought for the job were Dremel Speedclic discs, which we didn't have the adaptor for (doh) so we just ended up using the 2 normal discs we had spare, which suffice to say didn't really last long. So I just got a pack of "reinforced discs" from B&Q to finish the job.

Haha cheers Carl. I gotta say though, a hatch with a Spec C roof vent would look very nice indeed Really not sure if it would actually fit though
