Not so much a 'less desirable marque' but something that always made me chuckle.

At one point my local club meet had a really good turn out, on the same night a mini club used to meet. I think 3 cars was the most I ever saw, they did seem to have a close-knit club mind.

(this is not to say the marque is crap/weird or that larger clubs don't meet, it just tickled me)

Turned out we were amongst a weekend meet up of the Omega Owners Forum. Now I know this sort of behaviour is not unusual in Scooby land but I was surprised that anyone would get quite so excited about an Omega. Maybe they have some quality that I don't know about. Seemed a friendly enough bunch mind

What other odd car owners clubs are out there I wonder, and do they organise similarly sized meets
I had an Omega some years ago. It was short of poke with the 2 litre engine, but it was one of the best handling family cars I have driven in the wet! Amazingly fast through the twisties.
