You guys not think the Carbon bits add a bit more class to the interior?
You reckon I should just keep the original pod?

Badhk am on it for you

yep, looks a lovely bit of kit but not on a new car, think they look great on an older model to freshen up the interior but yours looks fine as it is.

Just my opinion though so if you like, keep it.

lol@ Shaun ,but all the fezza's and porches have carbon interior options I thought it added a little class to the car.

**** it then will put the standard pod back on good job I posted as I am sick of the sh't plastic door cards and was about to have some carbon ones comissioned.

+4 Still prefer the original look Immy.

This might change my mind though. But i don't think it's available as an aftermarket part from STI.

It is not available.

That's from the STI Carbon concept car. Basically an STI A-Line (which means auto basically) with alcantara dash bits and a carbon roof.

i did originally think about getting the dash, dash pod and door cards done in alcantara. theres a firm in the states called Coachworks who have done loads for the guys across the pond.

Theres also a firm in Japan called Robinson Leather who do great re-trims and specialise in interior including a mix of leather alcantara and carbon fibre.

You got any more pics of the concept a line?

How are you always in the know about anything new Subaru does

Are these the guys Immy, some nice looking pods and not that expensive.

http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgur...ch&um=1&itbs=1

This is quite cool with the built in gauge pod.

Do I recall you also talking about your door handles in another post/thread, I painted mine myself as they were annoying the hell outta me, really easy to remove and I'm sure a local body shop can paint them up for you, here are mine in Ford Nimbus grey.

It's quite old news Immy. Here you go. http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/30/t...nt-make-sense/

More a teaser to what Subaru may be doing for future STI special edition models than an engineering showcase if you ask me.

....because i'm quite the Scooby *****.

Great work there ArronB It's annoying to see Subaru equipping yet another range of cars with plastics that mark and scratch way too easily. I thought they would have improved that from the GD sedans.

Sorry for the late reply Arron, I only just seen your response. The link you put up is the guys I was talking about. The parts you painted look good however I would love them in either alcantara or carbon

I personally think the interior in the GD was better especially the door cards. The cheap plastic on the GRB door cards pisses me right off.

And one of the reasons I love the hatch is the practicality two bikes on the back and can fit to in the back with the seats down!!!
