I'm not a cat fan at all - the lives of lots of local wildlife were probably spared whilst it was trapped in the bin 15 hours.
I can understand cat owners feeling enraged by what the women did, but having a pet which goes out hunting wildlife isnt on IMO. In a way owners are selfish by turning a blind eye to this fact just so they can enjoy the pet themselves.
If cats didnt hunt and roam around everywhere they would be perfect pets tho.

I dont have any pets now, but as a child I do remember the family cat bringing the odd present around for us to look at, frogs and birds.
I find it hard to compare a cruel woman causing deliberate distress to the animal and most probably its owners the same as a cat hunting a mouse / frog / bird etc, is that not just cats being cats?

If the RSPCA are going to bring charges against her then surely she has committed a criminal offence by causing cruelty to an animal. Police protection, what a joke and waste of public resources/money. Stick her in a wheelie bin so no one finds her, no need for police protection then

Are you just saying the owners of the cat should be held accountable for any animals it kills in its lifetime?
Is it cats or animals in general? Dave's dog kills a duck in a pond during walkies, little Timmie's rabbit escapes its hutch and eats the neighbours vegetable patch, Sue's tortoise escapes and does pretty much **** all for 3 days moving 3 feet.
Please dont think I'm taking the pee out of your view, I'm just interested to see where you think it would be possible to draw the line or is it just a case that you dont particularly like cats?

It was a cruel act, end of story. I hope she is locked in a bin for 15 hours the evil cow.
And what difference does it make if the cat was roaming? that's what cats do. It was only on its own front wall for **** sake!
You obviously condone what she did and that says a lot about you Petem95.

Silly b!tch should be put in a wheelie bin for 15 hours!
As for cats peeing and roaming: half the country does that every weekend and they dont get shoved in a bloody wheelie bin do they? (Well most dont)
FWIW most cats scent mark because they haven't been neutered which is down to the owners. As for killing wildlife that is a good point and the older I get the more truth I see in this issue. Cats do take out a large amount of prey for their size but haven't decimated populations of urban or rural species AFAIK?
My own cat is an indoors cat, avoiding the peeing, killing and roaming but most of all to keep her away from dumbf@cks like this moron!

Really, to save face she needs to agree to fifteen hours in a wheelie bin, then justice will have been served, perhaps she need psychological evaluation as that is not the actions of a normal person, there was the potential for the bin men to dump the contents of the bin, including said moggy into the back of the bin wagon, which would then compress the lot, nice.
For me, ok no harm was done really, the cat probably had a bad night, the owners were probably frantic but they got it back but its the fact she too it upon herself to do this to someone elses pet for no apparent reason, just bloody mindedness and a bit of cruelty. This is the problem with society, people feel they have some right to interfere with other peoples stuff, the only decision they make is not whether it is right or wrong but whether they can derive some fleeting amusement from it and whether they can get away with it.
What makes this strange is that it was a middle aged woman, usually its teenagers that do stuff like that, we toted with leaving the Fiat 500 in the town centre after a drink the other night, we darent so went in the Galaxy, basically every time you tell anyone you have one they recount a tale where they put it in a garden, bounced into some other inescapable situation or some other hillarious jape, just because they could, now I suspect its probably bollocks in most cases but I dont know where people get off doing stuff like that, ITS NOT YOURS, SO LEAVE IT ALONE !

To be fair the cat probably just went to sleep in the fecking bin.
It would only be meowing in the morning cos it was hungry (no wildlife to decimate).
If that tw@t had done that to one of our cats I wouldn't have time to punch her - I'd be trying to save her from Mrs Jasey
ps Anyone seen ajm's mum

The way she does it is like something out of that film Misery.
You can imagine she's off to the shops to buy expensive paper for the crippled writer she's kidnapped.

When I was using a 1984 MK2 Polo for work, I stupidly showed a work colleage how light it was by lifting the back wheel clear off the ground. Few days later I wish I hadn't, because I came out to find the damn thing wedged in the corner of the yard with the nose and boot wedged between a wall and a skip.

If this is what the evil old bitch did to a cat when she thought no one's watching.....what would she do to a kid in a pram if she thought she could get away with it ?
I bet her kids scratch nice cars for a hobby

As someone already said, if she can do that to a cat, what is she capable of doing to, i don't know, children?
