Some weather sites vary to the "chance of rain".......
I'll stick to the BBC as they seem to get it almost right, either way i'll be there ;-)
http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/17
Hope everyone still turns up rain or shine ;-)
If its raining i'll be the pleb in my HighViz water proofs

This is the one I got
Hi
Here are the correct set of rules and points system for the Scooby Shoot out this weekend.
The classes are:
Standard - standard (ish) cars using road normal road tyres and no more than basic mods (remap, handling mods). NO TRACK DAY TYRES.
Modified - larger turbos, stripped interiors and road legal track rubber all allowed
Pro - Anything goes, slicks allowed
Drag - Anything goes, drag tyres etc, fully stripped cars
The qualifying quarter mile drag strip and top speed runs are run until 3pm, then the eliminations will be worked out. This is not limited to how many runs you get in. The Top Speed runs will be in the left lane only, and it would make it easier for the timekeeper if you could put your hazard lights on if you are doing a top speed run.
Your vehicle number needs to be in the middle on the back of the car, for the quater mile and fliers. (If you put a number on one side of the back windscreen, it's not easy to see the full number and therefor a time may not be recorded for you. You will also need a number on the front of your car and one on the left side for the handling circuit.
Remember you will need to wear helmets and no passengers allowed whilst racing!
The top 10 overall in each discipline will receive points - 1st - 10 points, 2nd - 9 points ..... 10th - 1 point.
This gives a maximum of 30 points to be available to anyone doing all 3 disciplines, plus bonus points.
There will be 5 points available to everyone who scores points in each discipline, so you don't necessarily have to come 1st in each discipline to win the event.
These points will be live throughout the day.
These points are separate to the Grudgement day. Anyone who is competing in both Grudgement and Scooby Shoot Out will have 2 different numbers on their cars so the timekeeper on the handling circuit knows. The driver will then be able to score points in both events.
Please let me know if you need to modify the class you've already entered.
Regards
Helen

I have just read a little on the 22b site, there seems to be a little confusion over the classes.
I asked for standard ish, but eggy has been put into modified. Me and eggy's specs are very similar but he has breathing mods where as I don't.
The turbo isn't really bigger, the vf48 & standard vf35 look identical and perform close enough.
Coils, I thought counted as handling mods & so still in standard ish class?
I have never been to a drag strip or race track, let alone competed on one & I drive like a girl so I am sure I will be at the bottom of standard class anyway. I don't want to annoy anyone or break any rules.

Guys, don't worry about classes. Have some fun. If you have not done anything like this before and need advise etc on the day just chat to fello competitors, all will be happy to give advise in my experience. Up until a couple of years back I had not done anything but track days, so just goes to show.
