Thought Id update as a lot has happened since. The day after mapping the turbo gave up the ghost, the day before Straightliners! Bummed and really lost heart, finances totally drained and looking at a broken car.

Fast forward 6 months and we have a GT35 billet.
Fitted and mapped to a conservative 500bhp. We had it at 540 but decided to pull things back a little as its hasn't been driven in anger for 3 years. Feels good with really good spool and the gears feel a lot shorter than I remember.
We decided to run in a local drag strip more of a shakedown than anything else.
After the first run, where I lifted off just before the line, the timing gear failed leaving the rest of the day without times. Had a productive day though finishing second overall in the shootout runs. Only timed run was 11.105
Last event of the year 2011.

Fast forward again to March 2012 and we've cracked it!

10.89 @ 131mph

Result.
