All very strange, 20 days ago he's saying that Liverpool is his English Athletico. He'd never play for another English club, wants Liverpool to invest (£22.8million on Suarez not enough?) and doesn't walk away from contracts.
Now this.

I can see City going toe to toe with Roman, could end up being very beneficial to LFC

£50 or £60 million spent wisely will give our team a lift I think. As much as I'd love him to stay he's done **** all for 18 months so if the new money want him let's get it done.

Newcastle want £35m, and LFC will pay it ?? crazy talk and knee jerk in the extreme.
Yeah deffo has potential, but £12-14m would be nearer the mark, that said they offered £12.5m for Suarez before finally agreeing on £23m so who's to say they wont pay big money for Carroll
You can see why SAF is so reticent about spending big these day (other than the fact we're skint
)

King Kenny is splashing the cash in an attempt to get the job full time, they'll have to give it to him because there wont be any left for any new manager once he's done.
LFC the next Leeds ?

It's being reported that NUFC actually turned down the £35m bid from LFC, they must be insane !

Carroll has just handed in a transfer request and is on his way to the NW.
Imagine, Suarez, Carroll and Torres up front. Banging in the goals. I can't wait.

Yes but for £35m you will buy someone a hell of a lot better, well in theory, just signing them to NUFC may be a tough job

Hehe last week had all the jordee nation giving it the lemon about us selling Bent to Villa. Now it has come back to bite them in the ***.
His injury wasn't a mystery, he fell off a bar stool after having a few too many peronis and aftershocks at a casino.
