i cant remember the name of the film, but i watched it with some mates when i was 15. it followed a boy with an eye patch who drove a big muscle car and collected playing cards.
we were on acid at the time so it was even wierder.

Xtro, when i was 8 or 9. seriously disturbing film.. my 14 year old brother and i went to our local video shop and rented that and a kentucky fried movie. that was before they started getting all strict about age

Yeah the organic tooth gun was wicked. Very much reminded me of Videodrome, another fave
Session Nine is pretty weird.
Clive Barker's Nightbreed was good and actually has David Cronenberg as a serial killer, which was pretty cool, plus the effects/makeup were amazing for the time.

I also hear the original "Ring"(Japanese version 1998) is very good and very scary. One i need to buy and watch.

Anything on Movies for Men late at night (sky channel 323 / 324 i think) the only good thing about them is that some have naked boobies in them

Very good horror film, no silly blood and guts bollocks, just good old mind games. This was a straight to DVD movie and yet far, far better than any hollywood "horror".
I also hear the original "Ring"(Japanese version 1998) is very good and very scary. One i need to buy and watch.

Ringu (or sommat like that in Japanese) is indeed better than the western version. The old legend of the cat, the drowned boy and the strangled mother go way back in Japan.
