I reckon it could be the Mancs night.

Almost a home game for them. As long as the midfield turn up

Looks like Dimitar is off in the summer, he will not be happy about being left out in favour of Owen. Interesting from Barca point of view, Puyol not playing and Mad Masch as Centre back.

Not sure if I'm nervous or excited

Was going to take the **** but....I won't.

The different between Barcelona and every other team is so wide.I just can't believe how hard they work when they don't have the ball and when they have the ball.......

Just awesome.

No **** taking here either. An awesome performance and one heck of a mountain for other teams to climb to beat Barca. United were blown away and looked shell shocked.

Just perfect football.

Ho hum. Can't complain about that I'm afraid.

Trying to salvage something from the ashes of our dreams and I guess the only thing I can think of, and I'm sure all the non MU fans will join me in this , is that at least it guarantees that Fergie will be going nowhere soon while he has unfinished business in Europe.

After the first 10 mins I thought we'd ruffled them as barely got out of their own half and made plenty of mistakes. But it was 1 way traffic after that

united were never going to win that game even if they played all there midfield subs and the midfield was the most one sided final for years

Liverpool fans will be happy, they'll be playing competitive football abroad next season after all.

I'll think you'll find we were the better team for the first 8-9 mins, pretty much like 2009

I'd like Berba to stay, he has the quality to play for United, just needss to up his work rate, even if he believes he doesn't !

That said if we were to swap him for Modric , I'd probably accept that as long as we bring in a 4th striker, Danny Wellbeck still has some way to go as do Diouf/Macheda.

Now the Ginger Prince has hung up his boots, Modric or Sneijder is a must, both preferably (Modric has been making the right noises today)

I just hope we pile in and go for who we want from the off, none of this sitting on hands haggling and fookin it up as we have done many times before.....

If SAF has not got him working hard by now he never will - cut him loose!

Owen has already said he would like to stay at united, top impact player, keep him on a yearly contract, always good for a goal when you need one.

no, keep him on a you get paid if you play contract. Then it makes sense to hang on to him and sell Berba for decent money to pay for sneijder, modric, messi ( ok I can dream ) etc

Berba will be no great loss in my book.
OK - he had a good tally of goals last season, but he doesn't have the required work rate for my anyway.

Why not, we managed to beat them with home advantage and a player who would rather be in their team

Phil Jones is having a medical at Carrington, £15m for the Blackburn centre half, Fergie just making sure we have a decent centre half partnership for when Rio and Vidic hang their boots up.

Looks like the Chicken farmers are happy to sell their best players after all the "talk"
