Always enjoy reading the updates on this thread

Every time I've looked on, I keep thinking you're gonna spoil it, but it just looks sooooo swwweeeeeet!!!!!

Good luck with convincing the plod about the exhaust if they pull you though

What exhaust is it ??? Where can I get one? I'd buy 1 just to put on every now and again just to annoy and wake the neighbours

i like your idea with the oil cooler BUT in order for it to look right you need braided hose and mount the thing on the outside

The car looks like a mess IMO.
All these things that you're doing to make
it look 'different' or 'cool' are just making it
worse.

This sort of comment grates with me. The guy has put his car up on here for comments and we are commenting.

We don't have to like it just because it is different!!

No, although I can tell you I've had a 4 STI's 2 x standard, 1 x WR1 and a 320. Now have a STi hatch as well as another non STi subaru. All lovingly looked after in standard guise.

Now effort and originality, I could spend 10 years painting a car pink with a cotton wool ear bud and then mount an gas fired arga on the roof... it'd be original and would have taken some effort - I guess you'd give that a 10 as well?

Please note im not saying anything Cant please everyone, learnt my lesson now

Cant wait to drop it, week after next going to strip the front coilovers off and go to work unseizing them...dont know what we can achieve, must have tried most things by now!

Anyone got some tips for unseizing coilovers? Never come across it before and kinda struggling tried soaking them in WD40, then penetrant spray, extension on the C-spanners and then as a last resort hammer and chisel (very carefully!). Hopefully pop them in a vice and try it all again

Oil cooler is off now, looks cleaner without it.

Finished smoothing out my prodrive splitter now, just going to prime it up and then fingers crossed get it colour coded at weekend.
