Dont get me wrong they are lovely seats, and would be very comfy if they were about an inch wider. Im just slightly too big for them lol....which also makes me feel bad! Also look like an idiot trying to climb in and out!
Aye is a meganne splitter, had to modify it a wee bit to get it to fit but looks the part, nice and sublte...but low as foook!!

And still got to drop it more when coilovers arrive
Its very flexible this splitter, like rubber so doesnt matter about that scraping. Im just worried about that pulling the prodrive splitter off! Getting it booked in for spraying in couple of weeks
If you look closely at the speedbump pics you can see how much its bending up. Cant see the cable ties in the middle where i had to add a bit in to make it wide enough!

Recently bought some zeal front coilovers from a member on here, when i finally got them unseized after about an hour of trying, fitted them only to discover that both front dampers are ****ed....no damping what so ever, just bouncing on the spring.....
Anyway, found some Raceland coilovers brand new for £230 delivered from Belgium. Fronts only, but only fronts will fit as they are for bugeye. But it finally seems like im going to get some coilovers that will allow me to go lower
And ive heard that the next issue of FastCar mag sounds quite good.....

I was told not to just fit coilovers on the front because it will be dangerous. The damper rates will differ greatly from standard shock to coilover and make the car unbalanced.

Also planning on smoothing the front bumper out, moulding the fog covers in, smooth over the washer jet holes and mould the Prodrive splitter into the bumper. If ive got to respray the splitter i might aswell go all out and do the whole bumper Got some scuffs and scratches on it aswell that have been annoying me
Couple more pics

Lol, I know that feeling! But since my splitter rubs on the floor and my chassis catches on stuff, it's probably a good thing my front coils are maxxed out and I can't go lower
Love the petrol station shots, the close up one gives it a right angry face!

I'd think twice about smoothing everything on the bumper, would make it look 'odd' imo. Also, because you're running that low, you'll have every chance the smoothed bits will crack due to grounding the bumper once in a while, no matter how well they're fixed.......
I noticed your rear lights are all red. How do you get on with the indicator bulbs, have you managed to get them to flash orange?

Cheers bud, really appreciate it
Wheels are 18"x8.5J ET35 . Yeah seems spot on, although i think some very slight arch flaring will be required to get the tyre tucking slightly.
Cheers bud
Yeah maybe, but i reckon its worth a go. Can always pick up a new bumper for cheap if it looks crap

And i also didnt realise there was a projects section lol! Could a mod possibly move this there?
Red rears are fine, i wanted STI lights but just cant afford them...and for £5 this is a good substitute! Indicators flash red but its still clearly visable and obvious that they're indicators....best bit is the pink reverse lights tho
lmao at illegal suspension, the only difference is going to be the spring and damping rates of the two, but these are both adjustable anyway. Its not that the two systems are going to be different, its the same design, they're both the same type of coilover, just different manufacturer. Both damping rates are going to be set to maximum so that pretty much accounts for that, and then im also going to have a play around with the spring preloading on both systems aswell. Mainly to achieve HellaFlush stance by making the spring very stiff and no travel in the suspesnsion which will allow me to get the arch and trye as close as possible without any contact between the two In the end its only going to be the settings that are going to be diferent, but thats only going to be very slight and they're going to be changed anyway
As far as i can see it should be fine
