dfs I believe get there sofas made in china a lot of them get chea labour abroad ghats why you have to wait between 4- 12 weeks for a sofa.

one last thing make sure they right on the agreement that of the price drops before delivery they will match it.
Not to be a pedant but there are vastly more than three types of leather, although you are correct in the fact that the hides are split into layers

The majority of sofas made in leather will use upholstery hide which again on the most part will be a corrected grain, which means that most of the natural blemishes are hidden (painted and dyed over, along with being given an artificial grain) or as hidden as they can be, some scars and growth marks may show. The reasoning they use upholstery hide (cow hide) is down to the size - approximately 50 square foot. Some may use Ox hides, these can come in a little larger 70 square foot or so.

Given the amount of varients in the leather finish, they still all have to be up to the task and have to meet certain specifications for durability and wear and tear along with crib 5 specification for flame resistance.

Do not desregard s/h, just bought a 3y old excelllent sofa workshop sofa ( 4k new ) for £330 off Fleabay.
Make sure the description is accurate and that the sellers are "good people" , it meant driving through East Sussex on a single track road on compacted snow to a very desirable residence to pick it up. But was well worth it.

Default Re. Buying a sofa, advice please.

Buying sofa would depend upon the interior look of the place where it'll be going to be placed, the sofa sets must be according to the room as it must merge with all the other stuffs. The leather one would be one with a great look and luxury with a pigmented leather which is not hazardous. Make some online findings related to your search and choose the best one of your choice.

Nathan.

Wow
Those words are so good you must have posted and copied from the website where you work at

And a first post as well

Since this post started leather has crept up 10-15% in costs with lots of leather sofas retailing at £499 now retailing at £599 ++
And some of the bottom end ones at £399 are getting less springs and framework in them
With fuel costs and general increases in prices and exchanges rates from overseas prices have gone up across the board just like your weekly shopping for food

Still maintain best buys are the showroom ex display modles
Although some of them have been in customers houses

Leather sales are decreasing nationally in favour of fabrics now with faux suade fabric very popular now
Very hard wearing and has a nice distressed look about it and very cheap to retail too

Far better with that then a bottom range leather sofa

Foam prices has crept up so always make sure your sofa has pocket springs
