Yep, it was boring because I've seen it done before.

Sadly i think this episode proved that TopGear have clearly ran out of ideas completely.

Maybe Jamz, you dont like Supercars and really attractive women ?

I am not one for "Stars" but she is stunning and that Veyron "GTI", how is that boring ? it has 1200 bhp and did 267 mph, history being made, I reckon Bugatti released it because they were sore at not being on top of the TG lap board. The Senna piece was interesting, thoughtful and well done. Seeing Tom Cruise on there make you realise how massive that show is now, one of the most watched things in the world, I have had Yanks and Canadians rattling on about it, apparently I am slightly Clarkson-esque, hmmm.

Nobody has to like it, not everyone can like it, but I fail to see what they can do, there was no silliness tonight really, what else can they do ?

That last corner by Cruise reminded me of Senna actually. At Magny Cours one year he was unable to find half a second against Mansell's McLaren, so in the last minute of qualifying he simply didn't brake on the last turn, slamming his car into the wall and crossing the line in pieces, backwards to claim pole. His engineers rebuilt the car overnight and he won the race the next day. Tom ain't no Senna, but massive amounts of time can be found on the last corner of the last lap if you're brave enough.

It was a superb episode.

Back in the day I 'hated' Senna - but he is also one of the very few people whose death has really had an impact on me. I was devastated at the time. Really well done piece. Nice to see Lewis drive his old car.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode..._15_Episode_5/ 41.37 clearly in the wrong gear there for 4 secs. And strange they didnt show the in car shot of the two wheel "stunt" I'll guess we will have to agree to disagree

Must add the piece on Senna was one of the best the show has ever done! Legend

My favourite clip was Piquet's four wheel overtaking drift around Senna!

I am surprised the Veyron was quickest around the track, it didn't look that quick through the last two corners.

Was a good episode, when is the Cosworth Impreza going to be featured? I looked at the line up for next weeks show and it doesn't appear to be on it and next week's is the last in the series???

If it was £160k they'd have it on Too many people could actually buy one so what's the point in a popular car program testing that

Well it say's on their website that it will be on and the Subaru adverts say it will aswell.

If they will test a 300bhp Evo and Impreza then i'm sure they wouldn't give this a miss

Absolutely and to hear the genuine excitement in Hamilton's voice when he had finished driving it.

A good show tonight I thought. Also good to hear Clarkson admit his opinion of Senna changed through doing the research for the film.

I was one of the (relatively) few standing in the rain at Donington in 1993. We were supporting Hill, but were standing next to a group of Brazilians sheltering under their national flag on the run up to McLeans. My Dad and I were thinking they must have wondered what they'd let themselves in for coming all that way just to get drenched and watch their hero struggle round in an uncompetitive underpowered McLaren.

That first lap explained their confidence and also changed my biased opinion of the guy.

Senna also broke the lap record that day by taking an unexpected drive-through of the pit lane! That record stood for 15 years!

I missed it but it's being repeated (only the once I've heard due to Senna copywrite costs) tonight
