Mr P has lost a stone since starting his new job! Not that he needed too, but it's a lot more physical than his last one. Well if you can get more physical than scaling up tower cranes everyday.

I don't she think was too far gone to suffer that bad (even for a 40yr old). May need a boob job though as they've probably deflated (as much as I hate boob jobs).

It was obvious from her bone structure she's not a "fatty". All it takes is a change of lifestyle habit - upping the metabolism and sorting out the intake. I say "all it takes" like its easy, it ain't as like smoking, its a habit.

Aw, that's cute.

But I don't think stretch marks are beautiful.

Mr P says soppy things like, but they are just the sign that your body made our beautiful children. I wish I could feel so positive about them.

Stretch marks don't always happen. I've had two kids and haven't got one, yet my Mum has loads

Same here, well I have two children and only got them on my hips, so not too bad, yet my friend looks like a drunk spider made a web on her stomach.
It depends on your skin type, but I stand by my word when I say, no amount of lotions or creams help. My friend used a number of things and nothing helped, yet I just continued with e45 as I always have.

I don't have any stretch marks either, which is lucky, but I put this down to having a small baby.

I've lost over a stone recently too.... with Dave's extraordinary diet plan which works!

certainly proves the point that in every fattie there is a thin person trying to get out

(or two in the case of Vanessa Feltz)

Claire only put on weight for a short period of time, it's not like she was a fatty before being pregnant, she just put on a bit of weight. Happens to a lot of people. If you're naturally slim and don't eat like it's your last day on earth every day, you will end up losing it. However, once it's there, it's harder to get rid of. She's done well to get like that in 4 months really.

+1

The hard bit is staying like that. Its so easy to regress. When the body's metabolic rate slows down (which it does as we get older), one needs redcuse bulk intake and to keep up the physical activities to counteract it.

I probably eat half what I used to in quantity, and all that does is maintain my current weight. To lose more I need to eat even less (in effect starve myself) AND walk the dog a bit faster and further.

I could still quite easily pile a plate 3 layers deep at the Toby carvery if I wanted to (although I'd rather not as its a bit rank). My mates think I'm a big eater because of this, but they don't see what pathetic portions I eat at home. Seriously, I think the dog eats more than I do, and he's only 7kilos!

Basically, Dave sat down and analysed what we were eating and it was too much and the wrong stuff. So he developed a diet plan for us both which is working. I am losing about 2lbs a week now, which may have increased in pace a bit due to swimming. If anyone's really interested, I'll post up some of the stuff we eat now.

I have to keep reassuring Nat as she's ballooned up since getting pregnant. Only 25 weeks currently but got a reet gut on her I don't so much mind but the red stretch marks aren't what I'd call sexy. She's said though that once the little bugger has popped out she's off back to Weight Watchers. It does work for her as she lost 37.5lbs last time she went there after hitting 13st and 14-16 (natural size is about 10-12). I'm no oil painting body wise so ain't so bad. She has a varied die though (and I'm a freeky eater) so it will be asier for her to lose the baby weight than me

Still I'll have a memento to play with for 18 years

Dave
You have got my post completely wrong!

My post was regarding corrado's comment about the need for her to have a tummy tuck, which I was defending..... she was not THAT fat, emphasis on not THAT fat to need a tummy tuck.

I in no way condone people eating themselves to obeseity.
