I think you will find that for many he is a figure they love to hate

As for your pub analogy I wouldn't know as I only trend to drink in places where the great unwashed can't get into and couldn't afford a drink if they could. On the whole I hate pubs as they tend to be full of ********* and there is no way of ignoring them... which aptly brings me to my next point

You will find if you look hard enough that you have an ignore function at your disposal so if you find Pete so annoying that you feel the need to keep telling us all why not STFU and use the ignore function instead, there's a good chap.

Now if he was to stand and fight, metaphorically, put up some sort of challenge, now that would add some sort of value to this place. In the way of Nacro, or even Ajm. I think you would do well to "wake up" yourself. I find it strange that someone can get so wound up over a bit of **** taking (I am not good with numbers), all the people I knew in the Service were used to it and found it a bit of a laugh and could also give as good as they got. Whingeing the way you are doing is pretty pathetic really. It is so much easier just to join in fact. Admittedly he does have a sharp turn of wit so you might have to work at it a bit to keep up.
