I really do like the spoiler, I had an STi spoiler with wing Stiffi's on my Hawkeye WRX and they can really restrict rear vision if you are keeping an eye out for the rozzers.

I plan on keeping this car for a little while yet, you never know it might even get past a year...
How's the car going? I am guessing that you now have an MD321 turbocharger, I bet you can't wait.

Cheers Boyd, I think I will have to take up car styling as a career similar to those house renovation/make-over TV programmes.

Glad to see your car is getting there, I bet you'll be like a dog with two todgers when it's done, I'd be exactly the same. Who is mapping it for you?
Good luck with house sale, it will no doubt be a weight off your mind when it is completed.
We will have to arrange to finally meet up at the next big tunnel run.

I'm really happy with the look of the car just going to get the mirrors and b pillar trim done in carbon wrap and then the exterior styling mods will be finished.

I bare more resemblance to Shrek than LBL.

Zak @ Mocom will be mapping it and doing all the work in-between. Been using him for 4 years with no problems so no need to be changing now.

Later date might look at a forged ej257 or maybe a 2.1 Stroker but at the moment i'm sure it should be quite fun once it's done

Can't and don't want to run any more than 1.55 Bar on the OEM ECU so recon I should end up with around 420-430 Bhp @ 380 Ft Lbs torque. REAL WORLD figures

You'll have to bring it down to the fine roads of Wales so you can stretch it's legs properly on some proper drivers roads.
I arranged a run recently with some peeps from 'darn sarf' and some SWS members we had about 20 cars out.

I like that, it looks tough.
I was going to get a carbon spoiler similar to that one for my WRX but I was told the original holes would have needed welding, painting and then new ones would have needed drilling, so I just went with an STI rep instead.
I know it has an external aerial because it's JDM, but does anyone know why they went down a different route for the UK market?

Nice Boyd, same as you I would rather real world usability rather than RR power. It is nice to have a high BHP figure but give me useable power rather as it's much better on the road.

Had a bloke go past me on the montain road towards Blaenau Ffestiniog at gawd knows what speed in a Audi A3, found him buried in a ditch/hedge a few miles down the road was gonna stop but he looked like he was ok, and I was laughing far too much

That's the trouble with the Goggs (North Walians) is that they have some fine roads up there but they can't drive for toffee. I really like the Evo triangle but it can get congested with similar minded enthusiasts.
I would like to organise a run around South, Mid and West Wales which are are just about do-able in one day with some fuel/meal stops thrown in.
Let me know if your interested as I might be planning another run shortly.

I know from experience that the holes on a WRX or an STi spoiler would not line up with the S204 spoiler mounting points, it is lucky that I had a bare bootlid to fit it too.
With the UK models isn't the aerial intergrated into the rear screen, perhaps it might have something to do with interference from the rear wiper motor (even though my car does not have one)?

Mines got the intergrated aerial Ty - I wonder if the Speccy came with no CD/radio as standard and the aerial they chose to fit was that one, on the pillar

The Spec C's and certainly my S202 come prepared for ICE but as far as I know none is fitted ie they come with front speakers, aerial and the necessary wiring.
Having thought about it more I am really at a loss to explain it now.
